[edit]
A devoted Keeper who has travelled far and wide from her origins 'neath the boughs of the Shroud. She follows her feet and her nose in search of novelty and new experiences. Although she is now somewhat far from her origins she does her best to marry the traditions of her upbringing with the insights offered from other cultures and all she has learned in the process. She wears her heart on her sleeve and a smile in the face of adversity.
At first glance, Nhia is often mistaken for a child. Even by Miqo'te standards she is short at barely five fulms on tiptoes although she tends to wear heeled boots to add a few ilms to her stature. A particularly pale brand of Keeper who often keeps her face covered from the strength of Azeyma's rays and whose body shows an elaborate tracery of veins that gives her a somewhat fragile appearance. The woman has soft, gentle features with rounded cheeks and a pointed chin. Her eyes are owlishly huge, silvery as moonlight and surrounded by heavy lashes under delicate brows. Her nose is small and pert, her lips plush and only a shade or two darker than her skin. Pretty enough but unremarkable, her face however is incredibly expressive of even the tiniest shift in mood. It is framed by masses of ebony shaded hair. Worn long and with a tendency to curl, the tips of the locks are stained a deep vermillion reminiscent of the crushed berries used for warpaint amongst her kin. Her ears are tufted at the tips whilst her tail is long, slender and flexible, sporting a distinctly leonine tip. Even if her face were better at concealing her emotions it is likely her tail would give them away by its reflection of her moods. When she is nervous or anxious the appendage tending to be found curled around one thigh whilst when she is more confident, tending to sway in a distinctly hypnotic manner. Blessed or cursed with the body of a voluptuary, she has a prodigious bust which is countered by a waspish waist, her body then flaring out into generous hips atop lightly muscled legs. Beneath her clothes are lunar inspired designs painted fresh every evening onto her body with a paint derived from the crushed petals of flowering moongrass. They cover her from neck to upper thigh, the subtle designs only being visible under moonlight itself. Generous as her figure is, only her nervous energy prevents her sweet tooth from having pushed her figure over the line from generous to corpulent.
Aspects That Stand Out:
The oldest of six sisters all of which soon eclipsed their sibling in those skills most useful to her clan, Nhia was quickly dismissed as an odd, elfin child prone to fancies and delusions. This caused a deep seated sense of loneliness in the young girl and a tendency to mould herself and her personality into what she believed others preferred. In the present day this means that she can veer wildly between an exuberant, ebullient creature who thrives on attention and a more sombre self who find social interaction anxiety inducing and prefers to watch the interactions of others. Early life in the Shroud has certainly left its mark on the girl: After years of a canvas of mostly earthy hues she has a love of bright colours and opulent fabrics as well as a plethora of jewellery. The scarcity of males growing up has led to a certain shyness and awkwardness among men. A deeply romantic streak in the girl leaves her conflicted; teased by her sisters with the jibe that her only use to the clan would be the ability of her wide hips to birth males for their future viability.
