Background
Noelle hails from Ishgard, where she was a former knight. Though after an incident involving a thaumaturge, she lost her sight and was forced to retire from her career; much to her father's disappointment. Since then she has acquired a position within House Haillenarte as their official ambassador. She also sees to the running of her house, and the lives of her younger siblings.
Voice & Speech
She has a clearly educated manner of speech, and tends to be quite formal. Noelle also tends to speak in short sentences, preferring to get her point across quickly.
Personality
Noelle is very much a business woman, and often comes across cold because of this. Though this is not the case, she cares deeply about her friends and family and it is a rare occassion that people get on her bad side. It just so happens that Noelle is a very pragmatic young woman, partly from her upbringing and also from her time as a knight. That ebing said, she is genreally of an optimistic disposition despite her past expereinces. She prefers to judge people based on their deeds, rather than honeyed words, and has come to greatly respect a number of people for their bravery. Even those of a lesser standing. Unlike most Ishgardians, Noelle does not see herself as Xenophobic. She does hold some races in higher regard than others, but prefers to jusge individuals rather than groups.
Religion
Noelle worships Halone, as is part of the Ishgardian Orthodox Church.

Noelle will often tap her fingers on a nearby surface when she is agitated, stressed, worried, or feeling impatient.
Hobbies
Noelle loves to read, and is a huge bookworm at heart. Though her occupation eaves her little time for it, she has still managed to amass a sizeable collection of tomes.

Noelle's Journey thus Far
Early Years
Noelle was born into the minor noble house of Cleriseaux. Their main purpose was as a military family, and they had a highly respected lineage because of it. Noelle's father was admittedly disappointed that his first child was a daughter,nonetheless he pushed her towards military greatness. Noelle's mother Iseult would have preferred her only daughter to become a roper Ishgardian lady, however she unfortunately died of sickness when Noelle was young.
