Basic Info

Noes is a 22 year old Miqo'te, Keeper of the Sun. He currently works for an Item Transportation Service named Roydell's Item Transportation. This business participates in both legal and illegal activities. It is a small business what deals in the transportation of various items from everyday package delivery to smuggling. Noes is currently roaming the lands of Eorzea in search for his brother, Snoe. He uses the transportation service as a means of exploring parts of the world not accessible by normal means, and occasionally information. Occasionally, Noes will take jobs from the under world, so long as they don't do physical or significant harm to the innocent.

Appearance & Personality

Noes has blue hair with blonde highlights. He keeps his hair short and cut to fit his face. Noes' wardrobe mostly consists of light garbing. Because of his job, he chooses to wear light clothing as to not slow down his Chocobo. This also gives him more control and maneuverability when riding. He almost always has on his goggles. He first purchased them after realizing moving at fast speeds can hinder your eye sight due to intense winds or random bugs. Since he is constantly wearing it, he sometimes forgets to take it off.

Noes has a very neutral personality in that there isn't anything that makes him stand out in crowds. Getting to know him on a more personal level yields different results. Some elders and people who would consider themselves wise, has stated that Noes has an air of wisdom about him, but it is being limited. Some people think that Noes can be very childish for his age, but can be more mature than most elders when he really wants to be. Noes has this uncontrollable trait about him that makes him pushy, and can be of an annoyance to people who would rather not be pushed. He is oblivious to this, and only ever notices it when someone calls him out on it. When it comes to things he care about, be it friends or his passion, Noes can get really defensive. Noes also views everyone as equals unless proven otherwise. Titles mean nothing in his eyes, and real status comes from who you are as a person.

Biography

Childhood

Noes Arcwright was found on the lower cliffs near Moraby Drydocks by two fishers, a male Roegadyn and female Hyur. He was soaking wet, holding a stuffed dodo, and staring towards the sky. He turned around and looked at the two fishers, and did nothing but crack what they thought was the biggest and most beautiful smile they had ever seen. Though the two fishers were not in sexual/emotional form of relationship, they were best friend, decided to raise the young Mi'Quote as their own son. They weren't sure of what age he was, but presumed him to be 5, since he had the look of it.

1 year after the calamity, when Noes was 8, a dying Mi'Quote female stumbled upon Aleport, the fishers hometown. With her followed a young Mi'Quote female, around 10 years of age. After they took in the female and her daughter, and nursed them as much as they could, the Mi'Quote women asked them of one more favor. She knew her time was up, and asked if they could point them in the direction of a capable person or couple to look after her K'arhla when she passed. Knowing the two fishers were already raising one Mi'Quote, the occupants of Aleport asked them to raise another. Reluctant because of financial issues, the two gave in. After her moms passing, K'arhla went into a state of shock. She stopped talking and grew violent towards anyone who approached her. It was Noes, who endured all of the rejection and scratching for two months, that got K'arhla to open up, at which point they became close like siblings. K'arhla and Noes had the perfect platonic relationship. Whenever K'arhla would get into trouble with adults, Noes would get her out, and whenever Noes would get into any physical confrontation (be it monster or bully), K'arhla would be there in a flash.

Teenage

When Noes was fifteen, a traveling band passed through Aleport. When Noes spotted his eyes on the Elezen female gracefully marking her spot in Aleport with her flute, it somehow reminded him of the spot where he was found. With each note she played the image of the sky and broken memories he were not able to put together filled his mind. By the time she was finished, the image of the sea and sky contrasting each other was all he could think about. Noes thought that maybe if he was able to hear music, or play music, such as graceful as hers, he would be able to find out where he came from. He asked her to teach him, but she sadly refused due to the fact that she was a traveling musician.

For his 16th birthday K'arhla brought Noes a harp, and whenever he wasn't spending time bailing her out of trouble, he would be home practicing. He was able to play gracefully and learned pretty fast, as if he was a great musician in a past life. But no matter how good he was, he wasn't able to conjure those memories that the Elezen female gave him. He made up his mind, that when he became of age, he would leave Aleport and travel the world, hoping to find the Elezen women and restore his memories.

Adult Hood

"You looked to be in good health. How can I help you this day?"

At the age of 20, Noes set out on his quest, with K'arhla tagging along for company. While on the on the road, they happened across a traveling bussines Elezen being harassed by bandits. They were barely able to fight them off, and after that the Elezen gentleman stayed and accompanied them. He stated that his name was Fenreyel, and that he was on his way to one of the Ul'Dah to make it as a retainer. Upon reaching Gridania, Noes was inclined to join the archers guild, who he heard new a thing or two about playing music. He joined up, and did what he can for the guild. Before long, Noes became a very capable archer, although still lacking in the hand to hand fighting aspect like his sister.

Although K'arhla could have enlisted in one of the guilds, She was captivated by how Fenreyel worked his magic on the markets. She stared in aww, as the man became someone totally different from whom they met on the road that day. She watched as he hassled and hackled any and everyone to get the prices he desired. He was like a angel in her eyes. She asked him why he would not dedicate himself to a sole owner or group, and he simply responded by saying that he has not yet met someone worthy enough to for him to want to beckon under someone else's call.

When they ventured to Ul'Dah, Fenreyel ran into a couple of con artists he once did business with. With this, K'arhla found out the real reason why he didn't want to enlist under anyone. It was hard for him to trust people, and he was afraid they would judge him about his past if it had ever came up. He also apologized to Noes and K'arhla about lying about who he was. At this point, Noes stood up for Fenreyel, saying that people shouldn't be judged about their past, and should be able to make amends. Fenreyel thanked Noes humbly and asked if there was anything he could do to repay him. He told him that in a way of repayment, he can teach K'arhla all he knows. Fenreyel accepted the task, and threw in the addition of putting himself in Noels service, as his personal retainer.

- Current Day -

Noes is still traveling, learning music and looking for the Elezen women. Fenreyel is in charge of keeping his personal inventory as tidy as possible. K'arhla, now an even more fierce merchant then Fenreyel, has also become one of Noes' retainers, in charge of selling/buying things off the market.
