Basic Info
P'axi Tia grew up in relevant seclusion with seven other Miqo'te Tia teenager scholars his own age. Aged only fifteen, and deep in the sands of the Sagolii Desert when Bahamut was released, P'axi had little knowledge of what happened to the world until travellers brought news to them about five years later. Curious about the outside world now, and also discovering that his bloodline had connections to Summoners, he eagerly left his lifelong home (against his tribes wishes) to learn more about this forbidden art.

Personality
Demeanor: A bit of a bookworm, maybe too book smart for his own good and clueless about the outside world (beyond what he has read). Very clever when it comes to magic, math, writing, reading ancient runes and negotiating terms but overall useless when it comes to actually having a normal conversation with someone. Easily annoyed by things he views as a delay. Has a sly side to him that comes out, bulldogishly stubborn about getting what he wants and quite willing to manipulate any and anything to get what he wants.
Quirks: A tendecy to walk away from someone who he views as an annoyance, mid-sentence. This has landed him in trouble with more than one bully or another. Rather than fix this tendency, he has decided to get someone big enough to defend him when he gets himself into trouble (hence Tim'a).
Intelligence: HIgh level of intelligence, cultured in -much- magic lore, completely useless when it comes to day to day interaction.
Likes: Books, cats, plants (due to them being pretty rare where he grew up), climbing trees (again a novelty for him), learning new things
Dislikes: Being delayed, stupidity, being not getting to the point, large bodies of water (terrified of the sea), climbing down from trees, being bored

History
Childhood
P'axi Tia was born on the fridges of the Desert Sagalii. It was pretty clear once he hit his teenage years, that he'd never be a Nunh and his tribe specialising in producing more scholarily types as opposed to hunters, Paxi was enrolled early into the library of the sands.
Life at School
From age 12 to 15, P'axi enjoyed relative seclusion and peace in the library. He studied magic with his close friends. Not neccesarily the most talented, he was however the most curious and read much of the outside world and the different magicks that existed. Discouraged by his teachers to study beyond what the Miqote traditionally learnt, P'axi often made deals with travellers and merchants to bring him some of the rarer tombs they might come across. It was through this that he learnt that his bloodline had a distant connection to Summoners. Fascinated at the idea of being able to bring demons to the mortal world to do his bidding, Paxton set out (against his family's wishes) with one of the Caravans towards the city of Uldah. Five years after Bahamut's release.
Travels
P'axi found life outside of his rather spoilt upbringing difficult. Travelling with several caravans, he finally made it to Limsa Lominsa and immediately got into difficulty at a local tavern as he tried to get room and board after a particularly trying journey. He 'inadvertantly' ended up hiring a bodyguard called Tim'a Fei to get him out of trouble...
