B A C K G R O U N D

Ren has always had an issue with his past, his memories to be precise. He unfortunately does not remember much of his childhood, but the parts he does remember are horrifying parts that he wishes he could just forget, however they plague him like a disease that has no cure. Around Ren's seventh name-day, he was sold from his Tribe to a band of slavers, whom he was property of for about fourteen years following. Ren was a very stubborn child for the longest while when he was taken from his tribe and sold. He refused to follow orders, he refused to listen to anyone, he was always defiant of anyone who tried to tell him what to do. Becuase of his Defiant behavior, Ren has several deep whip marks across his entire body, the markings are primarily on his Chest and Back, with a few on his arms, a couple around his next, and a couple across his legs. Following Ren's Eighteenth name-day sent with the Slave-Traders, he had reached adulthood and was promptly advertised as a Sex Object to anyone of interest. He was forced to wear a very tight choker around his neck at all times, he was no longer allowed comfortable clothing and for about four years following, he was unable to wear anything to protect his torso or legs from the vicious whip attacks. Ren's Twenty-Second name-day led to him finally being sold as a sex slave to a rich Ul'dahn merchant, who kept Ren locked up like an animal for three years. He wasn't allowed anything anymore. He might as well have been ripped of his Humanity. He was not allowed to speak, move, or do anything without the Merchant's Say. He got one meal every few days, No clothing and barely anything to drink. Unless something of importance was coming up. Then Ren would be fed, given the chance to groom himself and feel almost Human for a short while, until it was time for him to be abused as the slave he nearly forgot he was. Three years of being a Public toy, a Slave or whatever else the Merchant would want Ren to do followed. On Ren's Twenty-Fifth name-day, he managed to get a hold of a weapon on the day he was to perform for the Merchant, During his performance, he slit the throat of the Merchant, stole his clothing and fled from the horrible place. Ren has avoided all crowded areas for the next Five to Eight years. Now at the Age of Thirty-Three, Ren has a hold on his life, Hes still a Defiant Miqo'te that he always has been, but now his focus on life is defending himself and making sure no one ever falls to the same torture he had to endure. Should he ever lose focus on his goals, The scars on his body shall forever serve as a reminder to the Oath he swore to himself when he killed the Ul'dahn Merchant and ended his life as a Slave.
