'Full of herself' does not really describe Rachelle enough. She's abrasive, loudmouthed, and egotistical. Sometimes, she's unable to see past anyone but herself. A problem-solver with ambitions exceeding her station.

She claims that she never wants to look for anything else other than a good time, except when she's working. She drinks, she whores, she gambles, and she generally has as much fun as she can. Outwardly looking like someone unable to take things seriously, it almost seems like Rachelle should have been kicked out of Ishgard long ago.

Character

History

Born into the role of a servant girl, her family beholden to House Danasorian, it seemed like she was never going to excel beyond that, something that frustrated the young, ambitious woman. Her playmate, the Lady Micharan Danasorian, knew her plight and eventually convinced her family to send her to school. It turned out that she excelled in academia; while not especially talented in learning, she was nonetheless dogged in her pursuit, having a hunger for knowledge matched only by her ego, an ambition of one way above her station.

Her reckless drive upwards was eventually tempered by age. She was still the servant of House Danasorian, but a highly-valued one, being, among other things, the accountant, historian, and astrologist of the House. She dabbles in enchantments, glyphs and crafts. She was trained by Micharan's combat tutors in the arts of war.

However, upon the disgrace of House Danasorian, and the exile of its remaining heir, Rachelle fell into a sudden and deep melancholy. She wandered from job to job, working for nobles who knew of her ability but also of her attachment to the disgraced House Danasorian. Her family saw her spiral into depression, and it was only recently that she seemed to pull herself out of it.

She had recently left Ishgard and went into the employ of the aforementioned exiled Lady Micharan Danasorian once again, as the manager of the bookstore The Eagle and Quill.
