General
Son to two of Thanalan's most successful independent merchants, Redd is a Lalafell looking for any way to better his kin and country. After the disappearance of his parents while on a trade mission to Ala Mhigo, Redd spent most of his time studying the path of the monk from the city's refugees. He is now an adventurer looking for new ways to help others and challenge himself.

Personality
Having parents that traveled as much as his did, Redd was often left in the care of his family in Ul'dah proper. As a result, he has close family ties and trusts the idea of "it takes a village to raise a child". He also has an unmatched loyalty and pride towards the great city-state and it's Sultana. After watching his sister struggle with her self-identity, he is completely open and understanding of peoples from all walks of life. Redd also has a very fun, and at times, childish side. Cracking jokes, playing pranks, and getting into all kinds of mischief is not rare from him.

Asada H'cate - Younger Sister - On the way back from one of their travels, Redd's parents spotted a new born miqo'te in the sands of Thanalan. Her Moon-Keepers eyes were the same deep red as the Nakoma family's. They took this as a sign from both Azeyma and Menphina, and decided to take the kitten in as one of their own. She is Redd's best friend and they have always been there for each other. They are nearly inseparable.
Yayamo Nakoma and Jukoma Nakoma - Mother and Father - Two of most accomplished traders in Thanalan. Completely independent from any guild or The Syndicate, Jukoma built his business from the ground up. He traded with the numerous refugees fleeing to Ul'dah to escapee the Garlean's invasion of Ala Mhigo and obtained many cultural rarities. It was then he met Yayamo, a weaver and silk merchant. They partnered and eventually got married. In 3 years they went from carrying goods in overloaded packs, to owning their own chocobo pulled wagon. The night of the Calamity the couple were to go to the occupied Ala Mhigo to discuss a possible re-opening of the trade routes. Though after Bahamut's rain of fire, they were never heard from again.
Other Nakomas - Most of the Nakoma family work in service to the Sultana as chefs, servers, maids, and event organizers. They are widely regarded as a very professional and well mannered family of Ul'dah.
