History
Early Life
Renaise lived from the age of six in a foster home after the disappearance of his mother Alitia Galwind. There he met Kara Galwind and the two instantly bonded. When his father returned from a long time at sea to take Renaise out of the care of the foster home Ren refused to go without Kara, causing his father to adopt her as his own.
Renaise lived upon his father's pirate vessel until the age of fourteen, he then left in the pursuit of becoming a priest. While training to become a priest in Ul'dah Renaise met and fell in love with a young woman by the name of Lizelotte Aensland, or Lizzi as she was nicknamed by Renaise. The pair, hopelessly in love decided to elope to the town of Aleport, a few days after the wedding itself two men who had been tracking Renaise to get to his father cornered him. In the ensuing scuffle that occurred a gun was pulled on Renaise, Lizelotte who had just managed to reach Renaise was able to place herself in front of the gun as it was fired taking the bullet instead of Renaise. She died in Renaise's arms.
The two men escaped and Renaise vowed to hunt them down. It is at this time that Renaise joined the crew of Captain Tyriont Gaidal. Renaise served as a blacksmith aboard the ship the Phoenix Flame for a year before leaving suddenly without explanation when he was able to track down one of the men responsible, and when he had heard his sister Kara had been taken by a sudden illness.
The man Renaise found put up little fight even begging for death to come to him so he could pay for what he had done. Renaise could not do it however and left the man behind alive. Several weeks later Renaise heard that the man's body had been found washed up ashore near to Limsa Lominsa. Renaise's father had seemingly caught up to the unfortunate man and was not as lenient as Renaise was.
Spectral Wardens
It was then and for the next year that Renaise was plagued by a reoccurring dream, in the dream his mother was dealing from a deck of Tarot cards, and warned Renaise of an oncoming calamity that would threaten the whole of the world. She tasked Renaise to form a group of in the hope of combating this threat. Renaise, unsure what to make of the dream decided regardless that forming such a group for the protection of Eorzea was not a bad idea, calamity or no calamity. It is from that point that Renaise has started to form the group known as The Spectral Wardens.

Is an avid collector of swords and shields. Loves food, is a competitive eater and has an especially large sweet tooth.

Seemingly quite facetious, mildly flirty and upbeat, Ren is generally smiling and happy, at least on the outside.
Voice
Varies, has a soft tone to his voice but tends to ramble a bit on occasion. His laughter on the other hand is more of the booming variety.

Fairly intelligent, while not really particularly book smart, Renaise is very observant and particularly insightful.
