♦Appearance

Renoit Laroche isn't what you'd call a particularily well crafted specimen of an Elezen. Most Elezen tended to either be built thin and slim like beggars, whilst the rest were bundles of coiled muscles that resembled powerful trees more then then men. Renoit on the other hand was tall with broad shoulders and an exceptionally lithe form, though he lacked the bulk that most caravansmen seemed to put on. It was probably due to his habit of finding more amusement in books and gadgets then the spear.

He moved with an almost feline grace, something that a Elven Sentinel would certainly be appreciative of, along with the faintest scents of forest and animals that clung to his frame under the more powerful scents of shampoo and soap. His features were youthful enough though a few scars would certainly mar his pale freckled skin.

He didn't have an accent so much as a lazy drawl to his words. He was rarely hard to understand, but there was certainly a burr to his words that implied that the man had plenty of time to talk, and wasn't terribly concerned about getting his point across with any sort of expedience.

[If you saw under his armor!] Though Renoit lacked the impressive array of ink that his sister bore over her arms and torso there would be a single piece carefully etched across the right side of his back. ♦Personality

Renoit was a people person in the profound ways that his sister was not. The young man, who appeared rather unimposing at first, was in reality merely soft spoken and observant. Though few would call him an imposing presence, the young friendly Elezen was certainly memorable in his own way.

Biography

Renoit Laroche is the youngest son of Jacques and Fleur Laroche, the Master and Matriarch of the Laroche Clan, a Minor trade clan known for their habit of protecting their own caravans rather then relying on guards or the auspices of the various mercenary groups. Whether the family's continued prosperity in the aftermath of the Calamity was a result of this habit is a hotly debated subject in the alehouses of Gridania and the Shroud. Renoit like every other member of his family was trained in the family's style of combat, and he even took a few tours with the shipments that left the family estate.

Renoits's name isn't very well known beyond the auspices of her family title. The boy is well trained enough with a spear, but he's not really anything to write home about, once again attractive enough, but nothing entirely special. In the end, most would claim that besides an odd fascination in the mechanical creations of the garlean empire, that the youngest scion of the Laroche Line was merely average and easy to forget.
