Character
General
Rhaq'a Zhwan is a skilled arcanist and alchemist and a member of the Zhwan clan's branch family. The arcanist specializes in curative magic, and dabbles in conjury and other arts to further his studies. Though he has not mastered thaumaturgey, he is quite advanced in the art of destructive magic.
Appearance
Tall and lanky, Rhaq'a personifies the studious scholar. Silky black locks are pulled back into a ponytail with long bangs that frame his pale features; bringing attention to his bright yellow eyes. Unlike most Miqo'te—especially those from his clan—Rhaq'a has very little facial marking, only having a few patches around his eyes. Rhaq'a's facial features are very 'pretty', and he is often mistaken for being a woman due to his androgynous appearance and slender form. Though it's not apparent through his normal attire, Rhaq'a has a naturally toned body thanks to genetics.
Personality
A known recluse, Rhaq'a seems to—at first glance—prefer the company of books. However, when in the presence of others, Rhaq'a is very cheerful, charismatic and enthusiastic; often at inappropriate times, and even while in danger. Despite his reclusive tendencies, he is more than happy to engage in friendly banter, and especially enjoys discussing more serious topics such as magic and advanced tactics. Rhaq'a is quirky, but incredibly intelligent with very strong willpower. Though he's generally mild mannered, Rhaq'a is capable of being rude, and is susceptible to volatile righteous anger. He is more than capable of being ruthless and arrogant when angered. Generally a people pleaser, Rhaq'a will go out of his way to help someone if the situation arises, and is willing to make sacrifices.
As far as interpersonal relationships go, Rhaq'a has difficulty trusting others. He may appear to trust someone, but he will not turn his back to them in combat.

At heart, Rhaq'a is a healer and a tactician. He idolizes the concept of the Nymian Scholar, and tries to put such ideals into action. Every movement on the battlefield has been preplanned, and Rhaq'a takes into account every possible outcome.

Family
Rhaq'a is a member of the Zhwan clan, a family group consisting of the descendants of Koja Zhwan. Born to Rhaq Zhwan, Rhaq'a was the firstborn son, and second child. Jhaq, Rhaq'a's eldest sister, tormented him relentlessly throughout his childhood. Thankfully, Rhaq'a's other sisters, Rinh, Yehn and Tseh took pity on him and mostly left him to his own devices. When Rhaq'a turned 17, he was sent to live with the Vashai clan as a breeder and a token of the Zhwan clan's friendship. He sired a few children; Pyha, Gota, Rhoe, Yehn, and Semih'a Vashai.
Friends
Though he mostly keeps to himself, Rhaq'a has managed to befriend a few individuals along the way. During his stay with the Vashai clan, he befriended the next-of-kin of the Vashai main family, Semih Vashai. Semih, much unlike everyone else, seemed to understand Rhaq'a and his love of learning and magic.
