Appearance & Personality
- Rhen'li is often found wearing some sort of armor, though he favors a lighter armor set that allows him the freedom of quick movement, something most people find strange for an axe wielder. He has purple eyes that tend to stand out amongst the otherwise dull colors he wears. His hair is never longer than a couple inches because long hair makes combat more difficult. Height-wise, he's on the taller end of average for a miqo'te adult. Underneath the armor he's got a muscular physique-- he has to, for swinging that heavy axe around.
- Until he warms up to people, Rhen'li tends to be a man of action more than words. He doesn't like to share his private life with people and can't stand small talk. When he's more comfortable with people, he's known to crack a joke and generally be a good time. Just don't try and get too personal, he likes to keep people (even friends) an arms distance away from his past and his emotions. Rhen'li has no problem being honest in his opinion of people and he doesn't care much about them getting their feelings hurt. Though he acts like a tough guy who doesn't care, Rhen'li is loyal to a fault to those who earn his friendship. He'd give his life to protect what few friends he has.
Biography
Childhood
- Rhen'li had two older sisters. They were twins and he was always in their shadow both in their parent's eyes and in the eyes of others in their tribe. He also had two older brothers, though they were off on their own by the time Rhen'li was five. Eventually, Rhen'li left them to pursue his own life in Ul'Dah when he realized his family didn't care if he lived or died after a particularly gruesome encounter with some morbols. The location and well-being of his family are unknown.
Teenage/Young Adult
- Always having been a violent kid, Rhen'li picked up a small axe one day when some other kids in Pearl Lane threatened to hurt him. He decided he liked how the weapon felt in his hands and eventually graduated to a much larger axe. He found he could make money doing odd jobs here and there, as well as taking on protection and combat missions. Eventually, he came across a company of mercenaries who befriended him one night at a bar. He ended up joining them on a whim.
Adulthood
- The company of mercenaries ended up being like the family he'd always wanted. He fell in love with the leader of the company and everything seemed to be going perfectly until a job went wrong and his lover lost his life along with the rest of his newfound family. Rhen'li left what remained of the company and struck out on his own. From that day on, Rhen'li shut down. Fighting made him feel alive, and drinking made him forget. Everything else was just the daily routine.
Present
- After spending nearly two years taking on mission after mission and refusing to settle or stop in any one place, Rhen'li finally managed to return to Ul'Dah. Though two cycles passed, the city is reminding Rhen'li of all that he lost the last time he was here. His friends, his family, the man he'd wanted to get bonded to.... Ul'Dah is filled with bad memories for the keeper. He's not sure how long he'll last, but he knows his friends would hate to see him like this, so for them, he fights on.

- -Age 12 - Left his family/tribe after realizing they hardly even acknowledged his existence.
- -Age 14 - Joined a mercenary company after they picked him up at a bar following a particular bloody bar fight.
- -Age 17 - Became a full fledged member of the mercenary company and spending a lot of time with their leader.
- -Age 22 - During a mission, both his company of friends and his lover perish. Rhen'li leaves Ul'Dah.
- -Age 24 - Current Age. He's returned to Ul'Dah in an effort to find.... something. Himself?
