Born in the deserts of Thanalan, but raised in an Ul'dah slum, Ryllyn spent most of her childhood indoors learning the craft of automations and mechanicals. Her whole life she has dreamed to travel and adventure, though she has no skills beyond those of her trades.  Despite her fears and introverted nature, she is chasing her dreams and working to establish a union for the innovators of Eorzean technology

An introvert by nature, Ryllyn is quite reserved and awkward around those she is unfamiliar with. Due to the influence of friends she is gradually becoming more outgoing, though this is greatly affected by her mood.  Quite often she may appear as scatter-brained or distracted, to the point of even improperly expressing herself.  A very kind spirit, she has often been known to go the distance to help even a total stranger.  She tends to take things at a very literal level and quite personally. During emotional peaks, she has been known to spout incoherent babble.

In business circles, she is known to be a shrewd merchant and very discriminating of the talent she hires to work with her.
