History

Selene was born into an impoverished family, as the first child of the tribe. Her mother was an addict, and her father an alcoholic. This caused her to have to provide for herself. While other Miqo'te her age studied in school, as a child she had to do what ever it took for her to survive. At the age of 10, Selene took a job offer to become a housekeeper for a rich Elezen family. Also around this time, her father committed suicide while he was under the influence. This caused her mother to snap and beat Selene when she came home from her jobs. As her situation got worse at home, with Selene being abused by her mother, the head of the Elezen family took notice on Selene's wounds and decided to hire her full time as a maid for the household. Every night Selene would come home late and leave money on her mom's nightstand whilst she slept. Selene's mother became angry that her daughter at such a young age had been supporting the both of them and decided in a state of disarray to attack the family that had hired her daughter. In the middle of the night, Selene's mother burned down the Elezen family estate that had been so kind to Selene. TBC...
