General

Little is known about this man, even his name. Shinku Tamashi (pronounced SHIN-koo ta-ma-SHEE) is simply a term that describes him; crimson eyes that seemingly pierce one's soul. Survivors from his blade get close enough to see his eyes which are crimson in color. Anything known about this man is only from rumor.

Origins of his name : His name was given by rumor of his assassinations and legend of its toll on people. In the Far East it is said that the more blood a person spills, the more tainted his soul becomes.

Appearance

Body : Like most warriors he takes care of his body. He stands extremely tall with elezen posture.

Hair : His hair is pure white. Whether or not this has any meaning remains to be seen.

Eyes : His eyes are red as spilled blood. Likely one of his features that caused his alias, they are indicative of his ability to spill blood without it bearing down on his conscience.

Distinguishing Features : Two scars, one on either side of his face angling down from his cheek bones. He has a strange tattoo on his back between his shoulder blades. He has had it for as long as he can remember...

Accent / Speaking style : Shinku is not native to Eorzea and thus speaks with a Far Eastern accent. People can find his voice strange when he speaks in the common tongue. He speaks in the Far Eastern language with his kyoshi, Sagi Nokage.

Clothing Style : He doesn't have much for clothes or a wardrobe. He has never needed one before. Recently, however, he has been making some changes in this part of his life.

Behavior

Shinku isn’t the kind of man that will seek company in others. He’s used to being alone or in the company of his teacher. If approached he wouldn't turn someone away; he's polite in nature, for the most part.

He has no problem taking a life. His conscience is capable of bearing a large amount of guilt in the work he does.

Habits : He has an idle habit of twirling a coin from finger to finger while in conversation or sitting alone.

When seen in combat it is evident that he is a very skilled warrior. He is skilled in most martial weapons and hand to hand. He is deadly. It doesn't matter if he picks up a fork, sword, or spear, he will use it with expertise.

Family & Friends ♥ Lhea Korolon : Drawn by her friendly nature, Lhea Korolon became someone Shinku could confide in. After witnessing her kind smile, however, it was evident that she would become so much more despite Shinku's denials. This young female miqo'te drew in Shinku with her ability to look beyond his violent past and nature. After several days Shinku felt a feeling he could no longer keep to himself. On the docks of Costa del Sol he admitted his deep love for Lhea. Despite her own history, Lhea admitted that she could learn to trust Shinku, she just needs time. Shinku will do what it takes and wait as long as he needs to in order to earn her trust and gain her love. His patience paid off as Lhea admitted Shin is the man her heart yearns for and told him that she loves him so much. Shin will never look back. Rather, he looks forward with Lhea at his side. ♣ Sagi Nokage : Shin's teacher and probably the closest thing he has had to a mother. She found him broken and beat down at the age of six. She trained him and raised him secretly until he was thirteen. At that time his parents were killed and Sagi took him in completely under her wing. For the next decade she trained him in the masterful arts of the shinobi including the legendary magic of Ninjutsu.

History

His parents were murdered when he was just beyond the age of thirteen. Since then he has trained in several different martial talents. Currently Shinku travels Eorzea wherever his next contract takes him.
