Silun Noykin - Xaela warrior of the Azim Steppes
A Past In The Steppes
Born and raised in the Azim Steppe, Silun was raised among the Noykin, being the younger sister to an elder brother. Her mother, just as the women before her, was a horsewife which were rumored to be able to break any beast given but a week. Her father was a warrior and hunter of the tribe. As tradition would have it, she and her brother would be taught how to fight, track and survive in the relentless Steppe. Especially Silun was taught how to ride, calm and tame the horses of the Steppe as they were heavily reliant on them.
Yet her duties would not end with that. She was further taught how to cook and even the rudimentary use of some herbs. She was also taught how to maintain and repair clothing and even simple amounts of armor or leather hides.
A Future In Eorzea
Leaving the Steppe, her tribe and family behind, Silun went forth to explore the world beyond the Steppes, beyond Othard. Thus, it soon lead her to Eorzea where she found herself among refugees surrounding Ul'dah. Having no knowledge of Eorzea as a whole, its culture, its people, this refugee camp seemed nothing like a shelter for those in need.
As time went on however, even Silun realized that to survive she would have take errands or any other small job in order to receive some coin while managing to survive off of the land and the kindness of those around her. Certainly not coming as a surprise, the new cuisine and questionable state of food within the refugee camp soon resulted in sickness, which had to be treated by the kind souls of Ul'dah. In dire need of a proper home and safe surroundings however, was she brought towards a clinic in Gridania, where she met some of her closest friends and found a new purpose for herself.
Appearance & Traits

- Hair: The Xaelan can easily be recognized by her combination of Blue and White hair, sported in a short and sometimes wild manner. Several strains are usually brought down into a part of her face, sometimes hiding an eye behind them or simply allowing it to stare outwards from underneath.
- Face: One would notice a clearly friendly appearance upon seeing her, usually accompanied by a warm and wide smile. Her eyes seem quite intense when first gazed into yet one can quickly notice that they protray her emotions purely. Whether happy, sad or angry one can easily tell from her eyes but also her expression. While one would usually meet her with a smile, there is also times where she'd seem quite determined, ferocious even.
- Physique: At a first look she would appear rather lean and small, not exactly the warrior or hunter type. One would be mistaken to write her off solely on that fact as she is quite agile and not weak for her small size as she will quickly prove in a fight.
- Necklace: There never is a time one would see her without her special necklace, several small bones which are inscribed with a different letter on each of them, along with a bright orange feather hanging loosely on it aswell.
