Sur'li is a traveling recordkeeper, artist, brawler, and vagabond. He grew up making coin by fighting and selling his excellent pennmanship skills to forge documents and signatures for various guilds, companies, and other less reputable associations. At the moment, he is studying with the Arcanist's Guild.

Appearance & Personality

Sur'li is an average sized keeper with bright violet eyes that sharply contrast with his dark brown skin and black hair. He can generally be seen wearing baggy-loose fitting clothing in shades of blue, silver, or purple. His laidback demeanor would almost suggest a lackdasial nature were it not for the way his eyes and ears carefully scan the crowds. Sur enjoys trying to see the brighter things in life, in attempting to be as optmistic as possible - but it would be folly to mistake his 'glass half full' perspective for naivety. As a person who enjoys stories, he believes everyone has one to tell, and is always genuinely intrigued to listen to things that people have to say.

Biography

Childhood

Sur'li doesn't remember much of his very early childhood, or of his clan beyond it being hot and humid often. When he was around 10 cycles, his older sister Uri took him from the clan. At the time he didn't understand, but now he suspects his sister had been banished from the clan, and for whatever reason, took him when she left. The two of them migrated to Ul'dah, Uri joining the Thaumaturge's Guild while Sur was enrolled in the Pugilist's Guild. While he showed promise in martial arts, he would often run off to try and spend time with his sister. He learned his letters at the Thaumaturge's guild.
