Appearance & Personality

Tehwi is a medium brown skin tone. She has Black hair, tipped grey at the end cut to neck length held neatly in place by a single headband. Her bangs are long and fall in the middle of her eyes. As for her eyes themselves they're a striking grey. Her face has a red scar that never quite heals, although for the most part this is covered by her hair. She has one large marking on either cheek with a smaller one underneath. Her lips have a distinctive brown hue to them, as well as shine slightly in the sunlight.

Biography

Childhood

Tehwi was born in Gridania to her mother, Khuja Zhwan. She spent most of her earliest years reading and reading and reading. She would spend most of the time she could trapped inside of a book or some dusty tome. Her mother, a conjurer would rather her have meditated than pursue more scholarly endeavors. Due to this she would often spend her time in under a tree root, simply reading in candle light. This played havoc on her eyesight and, after a run in with a tome that had a particularly bright spell, she eventually lost the use of her eyesight entirely.

Teenage

Older, Tehwi sought to reclaim her vision through any means. She caught wind of a spell that could help her see via aether. Tehwi, after gathering the required knowledge, began to cast the spell. Aether swirled around her, filling her eyes with vision but at a terrible cost. The deep brown hue drained from her eyes, and her hair turned a ghostly white. She had regained her vision for a short time, but at the cost of years from her life. To make matters even worse the effect of the spell was eventually faded with time and she eventually went blind again, leaving her robbed of not only her vision, but several years from her life as well.

Present

Years have passed since her incident, Tehwi's life seems to be heading up. She was able to graduate from university with a degree in Eorzean history and Aetheric studies. After a while of flip flopping between independent jobs, mostly artifact appraisal and consultant work on various historical projects until she was recruited for The Order of Sword and Rose.

After her adventures with the Order and eventual dismissal for conflicting beliefs a period of turmoil consumed the Miqo'te. Her grasp on her own emotions as well as her own personality began to warp.

Miscellaneous

Since her family has, for generations been conjurers, Tehwi is sensitive to aether. For most people seeing aether without corrective lenses would be difficult, if not impossible, however since Tehwi doesn't see light aether is free to be the dominant form of "light" allowing her to see aether. Its viewed much like a water color painting.
