This character article or section of a character article is a stub -- a small, but growing, work in progress. If you're the creator of this character, why not consider expanding it?

Appearance

A mid-sized Midlander woman of indeterminable age with gold eyes. Her brown hair is rarely more than shoulder length, and the tips are always dyed red. She tends to keep flowers tucked in her hair or behind her ears, and her clothing choices are almost always some shade of red.

She smells strongly of flowers and good loam, both of which almost mask another scent that is very clearly not body odor, but still rather unpleasant.

Early History

What is publicly known about the Gardener dates only as far back as her arrival to Wineport some years before the Calamity. Those that remember her arrival remember her as a thin, dirty woman who seemed to be in a state of shock and requesting a job to work in the vineyards, with free room and board and permission to grow plants in out-of-the-way parts of the land as her only pay. She has remained in Wineport ever since, producing so-called charms and potions in her free time to sell and trade for things that her contract with the vicar doesn't provide.

Current History

The Gardener still resides in Wineport, and still produces her charms and potions for sale or trade to anyone who is willing to track her down and meet her prices.

Personality

The Gardener is very distant and withdrawn, even with the very small few that she could be considered close with. Those who witnessed her arrival assumed she was suffering from shock; if she was, she has still not gotten over it. She does not seem to emotionally identify with people and situations, observing the world around her with a neutral expression. On rare occasions, she shows the capacity to feel mild irritation, but this seems to be about it.

The exception to this, though, can be seen when she is interacting with plants. She can observed to be cheerful, almost normal, when she is actively gardening without others close-by.

Other Notes

-- The Gardener does not seem to have a proper name; if she had one, she either forgot or buried it long ago.

-- It is possible that the Gardener is insane. She is known to talk and hold extended conversations with plants.

-- The Gardener's age is up for debate. Current estimates are somewhere between the ages of twenty and forty.

Out of Character Information

For the most part, I am almost always open to walk-up RP. Please, though, send me a /tell BEFORE you engage me, just so I am aware of your presence and I can adjust anything I need to, as I am not always running around 100% in-character or could be engaged in an out-of-character activity.

Please be aware that I am prone to disconnecting. I play on a mobile connection, and sometimes there are dead zones on the highway, I go through a tunnel or into an underground facility, or the location I'm at has buildings or structures around that create a sort of Faraday cage. When this happens, please allow me up to ten minutes to reconnect as it is not uncommon for me to be in a dead-zone for several minutes only to encounter the 3102 boss when I try to log back in. I also may have to abruptly AFK for periods of time; I often help my husband with his job, and that includes checking weather reports, highway conditions, navigation, paperwork, fueling, load securement and inspections.
