A Blackmage with a lot of emotional baggage. Currently residing within the lavender beds in a rented room, working with a band of mercenaries to find some sort of meaning to his life.

Appearance & Personality

Trent stands at 5'8", with a slender build. He has short brown hair and violet eyes. These traits are ofcourse hard to make out as he often wraps himself in layers of clothing to obscure his face and body. He is generally soft spoken, and those who do interact with him find him to actually be a pleasant conversationalist. That is if they can get him out of his room.

Biography

Childhood

Trent was abandoned by his mother at an early age when he showed signs of advanced ability to manipulate Aether. His mother, poor and not knowing how to handle this, sold him to a wandering thaumaturge who promised to help control her son's growing abilities. This man, a lalafell named Iveni Tahani, kept Trent under a strict watch. The boy was only allowed to learn what Tahani wished him to, and he grew up believing he was the only person in the world with such powers. He grew to resent them due to the fact it robbed him of his childhood. He absolutely hated the fear he saw in the eyes of other children whenever he and Iven were working.

Teenage

Trent's teenage years were not much different than his childhood ones. He was still under the watch and employ of Tahani, and his powers continued to grow exponentially. He was able to do things other after a few attempts that took other thaumaturges years to master. This was as Tahani had hoped, and he turned Trent's talent into a tool to gain power for himself. Just the mere threat of unleashing the boy on others was enough to get Tahani what he wanted most of the time, and rumors started to spread that Trent was the lalafell's pet monster.

Present

As he grew older Trent became more aware of the world around him, and soon realized what Tahani was doing to him. He escaped from the lalafell's confinement and struck it out on his own. It did not take long to realize that for someone like him there was not much choice in employment, because even though he was greatly gifted all he knew how to do was destroy with his magic. He took the only job he could find, work as a mercenary, and surrounded himself with a mercenary group in hopes of keeping Tahani and his men away.
