Basic Info
U'ahlia Tahkyn (born Ahlia Tahkyn) is a tribal, nomadic Seeker of the Sun hailing from the vast Sagolii Desert. Much of her time is spent within Thanalan, though she may be seen setting foot in the Black Shroud occasionally to receive lessons in the art of Lancing.
Outwardly, she is brazen and bold, with a fire in her eyes and a grin on her lips. She never stops moving, never stops taking the bull by the horns, careless as to whether or not she is gored in the process. And yet, beneath that rough and uncivilised exterior, a tiny kitten lies sweetly, exposed only to those she deems worthy enough to be called her friend.
Appearance
- Dotted with scars and a somewhat dirty face. Short, choppy hair, almost messy--cut by herself for many years. Rich, golden eye colour. Small, dark tufts of fur atop her ears. Likened to a Caracal.
With cinnamon skin and a head of fiery hair, U'ahlia has always been described as a feral sort of beauty. Her features aren't soft and plump, her eyes far from wide and doe-like. In fact, there's something about her that seems almost sharp and wild. This little tribal Seeker is no pristine maiden, nor is she a delicate blooming flower; instead, she is the beauty found in the cutting edge of a steel blade.
Her eyes are a brilliant, golden amber. Her gaze contains a fire to it that never quite dies out and seems to be hard to ignore—she isn't ashamed of making eye contact with people, actually taking a sense of satisfaction if they look away timidly. Dominance is important to her, after all. Above her eyes sit thick and expressive eyebrows that always seem to capture her feelings better than words ever could. It's not uncommon to see her brow furrowed, a clear indication that she's thinking … or, perhaps trying to figure out something quite perplexing.
Overall, she's small and wiry, though not in a fragile way. Strong muscles cling to her slender build, thanks to her lifetime of survival, and there's an air of power about her.

Personality
- A Chaotic Neutral character follows his/her whims. They are an individualist first and last. They value their own liberty but do not strive to protect others' freedom. They avoid authority, resent restrictions, and challenge traditions. A chaotic neutral character does not intentionally disrupt organizations as part of a campaign of anarchy. To do so, they would have to be motivated either by good (and a desire to liberate others) or evil (and a desire to make those different from himself suffer). A chaotic neutral character may be unpredictable, but their behaviour is not totally random. They are not as likely to jump off a bridge as to cross it.
She's a firecracker disguised as a living, breathing miqo'te woman, with a temper to match. Unpredictable, she's a spitfire who is easily riled up and even more easily pushed to violence. She has no qualms with aggression growing physical, especially if she's goaded into it, either by onlookers or the person who has given her reason to grow frustrated. More than once, she's gone to introduce her fist to someone's nose.
Despite that, she is generally a friendly enough person. Perhaps a little oblivious about the feelings of others, blunt to the point she could be considered rude or outwardly uncaring, and perhaps a little bit of a potty-mouth. She really does have the best intentions, though often they prove to be questionable at best. However, U'ahlia acts for herself, and often thinks that what she wants is what everyone else wants, which is where conflict arises. She makes no attempt to force her opinions and beliefs on others, but she does have an air of “my way is the best way”. She's not afraid to make that vocally known, either.
She's a trouble maker, too; mischievous and reckless. It has earned her a bit of a reputation, and hardly a wonderful one. Since coming to Ul'dah, she has been plagued with nothing but rumours as to what she does and how she lives—a whore to some, and a thief to others. Whilst this once crippled her to the point of shame, months on she had come to an epiphany of sorts.
Through tragic circumstances involving an ex lover of hers, who left her side when he heard said rumours, she's come to embrace a lifestyle that she enjoys without much care for the opinions and muttered words of others. To hell with those who do not like her for who she is! She's simply living the way she wants to live, without worrying herself over the opinions of people who do not matter.
History
Born to a desert-wandering clan of Seeker females, Ahlia spent her childhood and early teenage years with her mother, aunts and siblings by her side. Rarely did she encounter males, as she and her age mates were often protected by the experienced women from nomadic Tias—a lack of sexual maturity meant they had no reason, given their inability to bare young in their early years, and hormone driven men could prove to be quite dangerous.
