Basic Info

Uriah Nool is a lalafel from Limsa Lominsa residing on the Besaid server of FFXIV. Mostly trained in the Art of War, he has also been known to dabble in clothcrafting, leatherworking, and more recently, fishing. He's not the mightiest of warriors, nor the most adept of crafters, but he does know enough to get by. He has made his presense known throughout the land and is most noted for his travels and stories he tells. He has seen many things and learned much about the world of Erozea. If you see him, be sure to sign his autograph book.

History

"Never steal from a witch." That's one piece of information Uriah Nool will tell you. There was a point in his life when he was a Hyur and enjoyed all the benefits of being so - but sadly that was not to last forever. After having messed with the wrong woman, a spell was cast upon him which trapped his soul in doll. The spell was not perfect, and enough of Uriah remained alive within the vessel. Being the strange sort he was, Uriah Nool managed to keep some of his human characteristics during the transformation, which can be seen upon paying close attention. While the body of Uriah Nool may represent a lalafel to most citizens of Erozea, if you ever looked into his lifeless eyes, saw his pale skin, and heard the deep raspy voice, you'd know something was a bit off. While he someday hopes to return to being a hyur and finding a way to break the spell, this does not keep Uriah Nool from being all he wants to be.

Personality

Kind at heart, but also impatient. Uriah Nool seeks adventure, gil (to waste on crap he doesn't need), women (mostly miqo'tes), and fame. The Nool is sometimes big headed and thinks more of himself than he really truly is - not that he would know. He does best as a leader in a group, and loves to bark orders at people. Uriah Nool dislikes when people are not doing what he wants. While mostly kind-hearted and fun to be around, if he is not getting the attention he feels he deserves, the Nool will grow unhappy, then bored, then impatient, and then leave. While not particularly the best at any one profession, Uriah Nool knows a lot about everything and likes helping the new players.
