Appearance & Personality
Leon is a short Elezen, standing no more than 6"3 in muscle build he is very lithe, small shouldered and almost feminine. Often times he reserves himself in flamboyant clothing and dyes of mismatching colors and elegant patterns of an elder age. To most who interact with the wizard he can be regarded as cold, pompous, quick to anger and a know it all. He has a burning passion for the Fifth Astral Era, and the Mage States that rose in that period, particularly Mhach. Equally as burning as his passion is his temper, Leon is quite quick to anger especially to those he feels disrespect him. This makes taking orders from higher ups sometimes difficult. As to his coldness, pompousness and harshness that is often left to interpretation. Often a man of business Leon is to the point, very literal and critical of errors. When endeared to someone he possesses the trait of undying loyalty and reverence for said person, never going as far to even say a bad word or unkind thing about them. If someone reciprocates his feelings of endearment and friendship, they reserve an eternal friend in him. If they do not reciprocate eventually his loyalty and kindness to them will die.
Biography

Childhood
Brought up in a family of magick-users, and sent to the Academia at the age of five Leon has learnt the ways of magick and the supernatural since his youth. Developing a knack for destruction magicks.
Teenage
Confident, arrogant and destructive. Family events brought Leon's ego low and left him questioning life. At the age of sixteen he devoted himself to Thaliak, the Scholar God of The Twelve. Bathing himself in a flowing river's water he proclaimed himself a "Priest of Magic" and by the age of seventeen claimed to begin seeing prophetic visions of what was to come, and acclaiming this to his God. Believing he had achieved the gift of foresight Leon became more misanthropic and depressed as his visions showed him the past. Of mankind nearly destroying himself six times over. He saw in such a meditation and subsequent vision the destruction of the Mage States, and the end of the Fifth Astral Era.
Present
Sharp, arrogant and firm of convictions. Leon began to delve into Sharlayan politics nearly ten years before the Seventh Umbral Calamity. Writing papers on the events of Eorzea, and questioning the wisdom in the Sharlayan withdrawal from the southern colony. Eventually, he became brazen enough to question The Forum's decision of withdrawal and attempted to rouse those present to rejoin Eorzea in fighting Garlemald. The Forum did not agree, and thus he was publicly humiliated, shamed and exiled to Eorzea. Soon thereafter by a few moons, the Seventh Umbral Calamity occurred. In exile, Leon has found it difficult to adjust to Eorzean ways, namely their distaste of magick, and has often found himself hopelessly in conflict with them for differences in view. Recently he has taken residence in Ishgard.
