Basic Info
Von is a stoic and very dutiful person, she always takes other people before others and is a very strict yet compassionate commander, yet is also a caring and loyal friend. Very patriotic to her Ishgardian descent despite her past she will always be there to help if her nation is in need, keeping it in high regards whenever it comes up in conversation. Despite her love to her nation the Veteran has found a new home within the Drakensguard... a company she formed to be a first strike force to assist the grand companies in protecting the realm, which she leads with those she has come to see as family and is very happy with her life there. Despite her status Von acts as a very approachable person, and despite her workaholic attitude she is always there to help if someone is in need no matter the background, and is a soldier that will fight to gain victory and peace no matter the circumstance.

Appearance & Personality
- Von is very muscled in tone, showing her years of training within the Ishgardian Military, and her body is usually seen lavished with scars. Her eyes are a crimson red and pulse alongside the draconic looking engravings on her form whenever she uses her aether. Her hair is usually seen in a braided ponytail which she has gotten used to for the sake of using for the sake of being proficient in battle... the colours of her hair is usually black with red highlights are the standard white, which is her natural colour.
- Being of Ishgardian descent and raised in a noble household, her choice of clothing outside the battlefield is usually very formal or smart... ranging from her Fortemps coat which she treasures deeply, being her commendation of her work during the Dragonsong, and is lavished with the commendations she received for her service, to a standard trimmed shirt that she usually wears around the house. In the battlefield however her choice of attire usually changes to heavy armour, ranging from the drachen mail that was given to her by the military to the knightly armour she has worked to move around quickly in for her more public appearances. Having said this however her attire may go to less depending on the situation and what powers are at her disposal, having been seen wearing resistance overalls and even a combat vest into the battlefield at times.
- As for her personality, Von is a caring, yet realistic individual, she has gotten to understand that war has sacrifices but that doesnt stop her from trying to bring hope and happiness to those that need it, being dutiful to her role and her knightly etiquette she was raised with. In business however she can be very strict, having a very political mind about her she tends to use her strategy not only on the battlefield but in the boardroom as well... having dealt with the noble class for a long time she can know her way around people rather easily. To her company members and friends her demeanour changes to more of a motherly character, being there to help and care for whilst also being strict to make sure they stay healthy and safe.. as well as being able to take and use humour she has gotten more used to the adventuring lifestyle, having to tend to her company which she feels as her family.
Biography
Childhood
- Living as a child in Ishgard was very rough for Von, having a mix raced background made her and her family shunned from the rest of the family for some time, she was the object of insult for many of the other children because of this, her only friend at the time being her sisters, Niria and Nelia. The times she had to fully experience her youth were shortcoming however, her father was a very militaristic man and was always stuck on the path to bringing his family back into the good graces of Ishgard, her fate being chosen for her quite quickly as she was subject to harsh training at an early age to take up her fathers mantle of being a knight for the family, and advanced training soon after so she could qualify as a dragoon.
Teenage
- The Teenage years for the young dragoon to be were a time she would be forced to forget for a long time... her family being subject to political fraud by a rival family, the Dullonts... her sister was kidnapped and was intended to be forcefully married to their son, which in a rage abandoned her duty to save her sister, her friend. It was a long endeavour but she succeeded, but at the death of a lot of innocents that were employed to guard her path, watching her sister get nearly killed and taken away, Von was locked away and soon cast out into exile, her father took the blame for his daughters endeavours, being trialed to death.
- Von would start to hate her country for a short time, not able to remember much with her time away, she was left wandering and for a month or two spent her life within other Eorzean states as a sellsword, earning her way around and had a stable enough living for herself , this was until she lost the funds she had collected to stupidity and youthful gambling, she was forced to return to Ishgard, where she found out her father died and she was expected to fill in her fathers shoes... the details behind the situation had been kept secret to the majority so she was enlisted back into the military like normal.. and thanks to her mother and her squadmates within the military, she soon fell in love with the nation she once hated. Her years forward into adulthood were filled with much anger and strife, losing many and only gaining some, she always looked up to her mother and soon earnt more friends and was valued as a soldier and a knight for her efforts of helping out civilian and soldier alike.. soon commanding a unit and finding herself move towards what her father would have wanted... but also seeking to be more than just a tool for her family, and her own person.
Present
- After the war von spent her time teaching students in martial and other physical arts, but soon found herself tired... she had fought wars for most of her life, she was used to fighting and duty, and felt empty without it.. she wanted to be the one who helped a new generation along, instead of sitting and withering out within this one. It was with this that she was sanctioned by Ishgard to create a free company of her own, housing adventurers and being a force to train the new whilst also protecting the realm from threats and Tyranny.
- She didnt stop there as well, she soon gained family and friends... she had finally found a home outside of Ishgard which was something she had thought an impossibility before, and started settling in with them and acting as a kind parent figure to all of them, enacting and teaching her experiences to help her new family against the threats that were to come ahead. It was soon after this that she seen the fracture within the other fighting forces of mercenaries, and alike within the realm, and sought to bring those together also, seeing unity within Ishgard had driven her to great heights in hope and the meaning behind a unified force... the Realmsward Initiative was then born which she helps command today, a force that would complete her dream of seeing peace to the realm, a dream which she still fights for today.
