✖ PLAYER INFORMATION ✖ Experienced Roleplayer from the Central Time Zone (CST). Most of my experience comes from many years of pen and paper RP style. I excel in using outside sources such as google docs to RP one one one with individuals, but multiple individuals are welcome as well! However this does not mean I am not into RPing in game. While FFXIV was my first time RPing in a game I fell I have had enough time to experience it and do pretty well in game. However, please be patient with my responses as I am not as fast in game yet as I am on an outside source such as google docs. Practice makes perfect! Doing in game RP was something new to me so I am still trying to work up my speed and skill and I welcome it. Thanks for your patience! In terms of in game combat, I'm more comfortable with freeform style. Just be sure we talk about things prior to our fight to decide who would win or loose etc. However, I am not against /random I just haven't had the chance to experience it and I am not very fast with RP in game just yet. I would be lying if I said I didn't find it just a smidgen intimidating! I am willing to learn though if necessary! Do you RP Romance? - I do not actively seek out RP romances. While I enjoy romance it is not my soul purpose of RP. I do enjoy romantic themes, having romantic tension and romantic feelings from either party that cause conflict in a story. This doesn't mean however that I will not engage in romance or relationships. I do so only if the relationship makes sense and not "just because". While I consider myself MRP I do not ERP. This does not mean our characters cannot be intimate though. I am okay with RPing out things like hugging, cuddling, and a "lead up" to more "intimate" situations. When it comes to sex I will NOT write out a scene. I am okay though with briefly discussing OOC what our characters would have done if they were to have "relations" should it come up in IC conversations. There must be a clear separation of IC and OOC at all times. I have been in situations in the past where people expected ME to act JUST like my OC. Especially when their character was in love with mine. This behavior will not fly with me and will not be tolerated. To be frank I won't flinch to drop our RP because of this. Not only that but if you decide to push the issue after I have made a stand I will not hesitate to blacklist you if you refuse not to respect my boundaries. I AM NOT MY CHARACTER. While we sometimes add bits of ourselves to our characters, I am not Xantcha. How Xantcha feels about your character does not reflect how I feel about you personally. How Xantcha lives her life does not reflect upon how I live mine. End of story. Personal RP Limits: ■ Do: I consider myself RP/MRP. I will pretty much RP most things but ERP. While I really enjoy RPing dark and mature themes (hurt, violence, imprisonment, torture, murder, drug / alcohol use, death, etc.) I also really enjoy RPing everyday slice of life stuff, fluff, comfort, light-hearted, humorous, and cheerful themes! Long epic plots or long term every day slice of life plots are also okay! Just be sure we discuss it before hand!. RP involving Severe injury and the incapacitation of mind or body is also welcome but must be discussed beforehand! 99% of the time these injuries will be temporary. Rivalries, Deep platonic friendships, Romantic tension, and coarse language are also okay!. ■ Ask: Disfigurement or mutilation. Permanent scarring or symbols marked on my character. Torture that leaves behind lasting, long-term effects (aka, longer than 3 months). Long-term and/or permanent injury. Long-term captivity or imprisonment. Significant tampering of the mind. Anything that is dramatically character-changing, or may have extremely negative implications for my character. (Also, please warn me if any RP we do is leading towards 'extremely negative implications' land so that I can assess whether I am comfortable with it going in that direction and redirect if need be!) ■ Don't: Permanent character death. Permanently maiming or crippling my character in a way that completely prevents her from living independently. RP where your character MUST be around Xantcha at all times at every single moment. RPing with me only for the purpose of trying to trigger romance RP. Just don't
