Basic Info
This dedicated dragoon would rarely be seen around the key, unless her duty requires her to be there, always in her blackened dragoon armor and her lance. She spends most of her days in the brittle landscape of Coerthas, watching for any dravanian incursions that may hit the borders, and helping ishgardian troops with the frequented attacks to dragonhead and whitebrim.
However dedicated she may be, the woman is not without her weaknesses, scars cover her form, and are seen in plain view even when wearing her armor, however bad she is quite stubborn and will not tell how these injuries came about and is more eager to be healed and return to her duties, which seem to be one of the things coming to mind.
History
The war between dragon and man is ever raging..and with her her father being a dragoon, Vonni's childhood was always pressured to be the warrior his father was, to carry on in his footsteps and claim the title. For this case had to take up the lance at a very young age, and was trained extensively with the weapon until she could barely hold it still, these training sessions went on for hours, sometimes even days.., until she could not work she was forced to carry each step out.
She hated it, she hated that she could not live a free life, a life which she had seen many children live even when she was forced to live such a linear upbringing.. it both enraged and annoyed her.., why could they enjoy it each day, when she was but forced to be a hollow shell, made to take up the footsteps of a man she could never be?
These feelings both hindered her true being from coming to mind, yet her own stubborness allowed her to brave even the strongest challenges of her training in one piece, and when she had come of age, she was placed the soul of the dragoon... soldiers are always lost in war, and the demand for new protectors was high.., however the ritual changed her, it gave her pain, she heard roars, voices.. as if she was fighting with the menace the nation sought to quell within her very own head..
Part of her disappeared that day along with the dragoon herself... a few days after the succession blood was found in the snow, along with a broken horn from her helmet, not seen for years she was presumed dead. Yet she had returned matured, stronger yet scarred... she had not fell to a heretic, nor the inner dragon that sought to use her rage.. it was but a patriot, loyal to her nation, that re-emerged from the storm to claim her horn, and protect her country once more.
Personality
Von'ni has a stern but calm attitude at her most of the times, keeping calm for the sake of keeping the dragoon soul within her stable enough to fight efficiently, she does things for the best of the nation, yet that doesnt mean she wouldnt go with gut feelings either, if you get to know this person you will see a light hearted, caring person within, who can be quite the fun company if you get her into it!
