Basic Info

Even as a man of 48, Wilhelm could be described as still having a spring to his step and a grace to his movements. Having spent a little over twenty years on the seas, his stance and footing shows the signs of the balance any sailor could spot.

Wilhelm stands at a height of 6’7” with broad shoulders and wiry muscle still clinging to him from his youth. His long hair, often times combed or smoothed back out of his face still show signs of his Ala Mhigo birth with neatly made braids hanging from the sides of his head. Often he keeps a full beard and mustache neatly trimmed and clean framing his face.

The streaks of grey that has begun to overcome his once fiery gingered hair and beard, are easily the best sign of his age.

History

Born to the highlands of the Gyr Abania and citizen to the nation of Ala Mhigo, Wilhelm speaks little of his youth and time spent amongst his native land. It is noted that Wilhelm left during the civil unrest and impending Garlean conquering of 1557 in the Sixth Astral Era, at the age of 28.

Unlike many of his fellow countrymen however Wilhelm has openly admitted to not standing with any resistance groups instead traveling far and wide until finding his luck made in the maritime city-state of Limsa Lominsa.

For nearly two decades has Wilhelm called Limsa Lominsa his home, serving primarily as a shiphand, quartermaster, and later the captain of the Eyritrachyn.

For the past five years, Wilhelm and his ship the Eyritrachen have been listed MIA since the devastation caused as the result of the Battle of Cartaneau Flats.
