To the public eye X’lantah is the owner and Editor-in-Chief of the newspaper The Paissa Press. The Miqo'te has a jovial demeanor and greets everyone with a genuine, toothy smile. Having a friendly air about her, she seems receptive, if not outright curious of others. The first thing one might notice when they come across X'lantah are her teal colored hair and intense eyes. Most would describe her as, at the very least, ‘cute.’
In reality this Miqo'te is an extremely manipulative, ruthless, puppetmaster who uses others to do her bidding. Lantah is a member of a secret crime family known as Umbra. It's front is "The Sanguine Shadow," a popular dive bar. No one knows this hidden fact besides other 'family' members, not even close friends. Those she does not consider a 'friend' or associate is seen as simply a pawn to be used for her goals. While X'lantah does not approve of mindless slaughter and random violence, she will not hesitate to hurt, torture and kill to protect her crime family, friends or those she loves. She often feels justified in her actions.
Scars & Markings: X'lantah's skin was fairly unremarkable, though it had a sun kissed tone to it. Her facial markings were quite common given her race.
Clothing: X’lantah is not picky when it comes to her attire. When in her street clothes, it was difficult for others to ignore her plain, haggard dresses. Though often dressing quite plainly in comparison to the other denizens of Eorzea, she was quite unapologetic about the subject often saying, “if someone can’t accept me in rags, they don’t deserve me in fancy clothes.”
Although a self described “former creature of the alley,” X’lantah is quite the charmer and is able to use her inherent feminine grace, outgoing personality and humor to quickly win people over; she has been known to use these abilities to get what she wants. Newly made acquaintances would describe her as a sort of comedic-relief like trickster with pranks and mischief certainly not beneath her. Though her parents admire her ability to quickly make an acquaintance, they also acknowledge that their daughter can takes things too personally and often holds unnecessary grudges.

X'lantah is now the owner and Editor-in-Chief of a newspaper company called The Paissa Press. Prior to this acquisition she joined the secret crime family Umbra. Over the course of several moons, X'lantah has grown from a raggy, homeless vagabond learning the ways of a simple rogue, to a career criminal with a knack for business. X'lantah has quickly built a network of contacts contacts, friends and allies.
At one time X'lantah was an innocent idealist, who simply lived day to day on the streets, trying while still lending a helping hand where she could. She had faced numerous trials and tribulations which led her down a dark path. This path molded her into something even she no longer recognized.

X'lantah believed there was instant chemistry between the two Miqo'te when they had first met. They remained acquaintances for a while, only chatting in passing at social gatherings, however, developments and admissions between the two brought to light their true feelings. Eventually they formed a true partnership of love, though it eventually did come to an end. X'lantah still considers Leei a very dear friend.
When asked about Leei, Lantah would reply, "She's my ex. I'm so very lucky to have met such an amazing person! She's got her quirks, but those are some of the things that make her great."
Sani was one of the first people to welcome X'lantah to the family, showing her a warm welcome and taking heed to her needs. X'lantah believes they both share a love for romance novels, though Sani might not admit to such. While she's certainly one of the sweetest people X'lantah has ever met, the Miqo'te believes there is more to her than meets the eye.
When asked about Sani, X'lantah would offer a vague response to protect her family, "The smell of her cooking will have your mouth watering for a fortnight."
X'lantah admires Siegfried for his strength and combat prowess, feeling much safer when he's around. Sometimes, X'lantah thinks he can be stuffy, but believes he has a soft side deep down. One of X'lantah's past times is poking fun at the intimidating Highlander, which she believes he secretly finds amusing.
When asked about Siegfried, X'lantah might respond "Seen him fight in the Lominsan Fight Club - don't mess with that one, yeah?"
X'lantah believes that Orako is the kind of guy that would give a friend the shirt off his back and considers him the definition of a loyal soul. The two have become a bit distant as of late, but X'lantah still thinks highly of him.
When asked about Orako, X'lantah might reply, "Orako? Good guy, yeah? He'd take one to the heart for those he cares about, that much is a given. Guy can toss back whiskey like water too, so, impressive all around..."
Of all the people X'lantah has come across, Sazuka is by far the hardest for the Miqo'te to read as she always seems quite jovial. They share a common bond in their haircolor which is strikingly similar. While their newfound friendship is still developing, as far as X'lantah is concerned, Sazuka has a warm heart.
When asked her thoughts on Sazuka, X'lantah seems to struggle with the answer, "Shite, I don't even know. She's a treehugger for sure and might have a couple acorns missing, but seems like the goodly sort. "
X'lantah's former partner in crime. X'lantah truly enjoys the company of Kitt, though this was not always the case. X'lantah and Elexia are slowly building upon a possible friendship.
When asked her thoughts on Kitt, X'lantah used to lie to non-family, keeping her former partner's information secret, saying, "Barely know her, likes to tend bar."
X'lantah at one time considered Ashemmi an acquaintance, but the two seemed to have grown distant. While she acknowledges her abilities as a tailor, she now says little more about the pink haired Miqo'te.
When asked her thoughts on Ashemmi, X'lantah might reply, "She's probably caught up in her tailoring."
