Name: X'nala Rhaz (pronounced She-NAH-lah and sometimes pronounced as Sha-NAH-lah)

Body build: She is fairly muscular and carries more fat and weight at her hips and thighs. She has very wide hips, proportionately long legs and bulky, masculine arms.

Appearance: Tanned skin, a lioness tail and long, dark blonde hair. She has facial markings, particularly on her forehead. She dresses however she feels like in the time, and often shows quite a bit of skin because she likes to feel Azeyma's warmth. It's not uncommon to see spots of blood on her clothes or skin if she is fresh off of hunting.

Personality

Nala is a very proud woman and can be hard to please. Oblivious to how things go in the city, she can become quite confused and just go with what feels right at the time, most often the wrong thing but she finds it hard to care of be self conscious of it. She questions those around her often of their intentions, makes her thoughts heard, and doesn't let others walk over her. She is a leader at heart, and can come off as uncaring, stern, and stubborn.

her whole attitude most often is described as 'are you fucking serious what is this bullshit' in simplest terms.

Despite this, she can be fairly enjoyable to be around once the initial sarcasm and unease wears down if you get it at all. She wants others to prove to her that they are worth her time, since she has so little of it. She grew up in a home where if she wasn't impressed, it wasn't worth her time. When she opens up to others, she is kind, warm hearted and playful. She can still come off as she would before a friendship buds, though instead of it coming off as insulting, she usually means what she says and does in a more positive way.

Most of the time she faces the world head on, and isn't afraid of what may come her way. She was taught that no one would always be there to help her and she had to take life by the horns! If she didn't, she shouldn't expect others to either. 'Never depend on others where you can depend on yourself' they said, and so she listened and keeps those words very close to her heart.

It can be easy to bring out the mother in her, and often she will baby those around her once she lets them into a more substantial friendship. She'll play with their hair, or fix it, rub smeared whatever off their face, protect them from whatever they may fear and all around just baby them. Doesn't matter if they're the smallest Lalafell or the tallest Roegadyn, you are all her babies.

X'nala feels that she holds a very important role in her tribe. She is a huntress, and a fairly skilled one at that, and is the mother to three children so far fathered by X'vett.

She is nowhere near a leader, but her voice tends to be heard and taken seriously by her other tribe members.

Because she is a huntress, she is often allowed to travel. She never ventures too far from home but she goes out fairly often! She enjoys seeing new things and bringing stories back to the children in the tribe about the world. She plays a big role in teaching, and as such want's to know about the ever-changing world around them to give the best perspective that she can to those she holds dear.

She was the one to support X'vett most when he challenged the previous Nunh, even when he was defeated and wanted to reclaim his place. They grew up together and had their bickering moments in their teen years, but soon became fairly close and he taught her how to hunt! She holds a great deal of respect and love for him, and shows this in choosing him to father her children, reassures him that what he does around her and the others is okay, and she has been known to paint him up with the children.

When she chooses her Nunh, she most often watches him for a great deal of time to figure out his motivations, what makes him special as well as his physical strength and smarts. Finally, when she chooses, she'll often paint him in red, brown and yellow with suns and stars, then with designs and pictures of plantlife she feels suits him. This is all for good luck, both in getting pregnant, and having a smooth pregnancy. She also thinks that this bonding moment brings a certain intimacy with each other, and that it will keep him around to raise the children with her, not leave that duty completely to her as some Nunh have in the past.

When she chooses, she'll carry them off on her shoulders jokingly, wrestle with them and generally show a lot of love toward them.

Her current children are as follows, every one of them fathered by X'vett. She chooses him because she has so much respect and trust for him not to abuse his position in the tribe as some others have.

When greeting others within or outside of the tribe, she'll knock her forehead to theirs in a show of respect and trust. She doesn't feel the need to limit it only to close friends and family, and will do this to anyone who isn't an open threat. Before sparring, however, she will press her forehead to her opponents and look them in the eye, even daring to give them a little push back at the head before she pulls away.

Physical Strength

X'nala is very physically strong for being in such a small package. Most of her strength comes from her legs, though at her shoulders and arms is not far off.

Due to her daily hunting, she can easily pick others up as she has dragged Aldgoat over her shoulders back to her tribes home on a daily basis. She can pick most up into her arms and hold them like that, however if she were to pick them up over her shoulders like in the following picture: [1] then she can pick near anyone up and carry them various lengths depending on their body mass and weight. The smaller they are, the farther she can carry them.

She has been known to carry small Aldgoats this way, and with the help of a few others the larger ones as well.

Her center of balance is at her hips, and she has a very low center of gravity due to how short she is (compared to most others). She uses this to her advantage when carrying others, and at best - with quite a lot of effort - has even picked up a Roegadyn male over her shoulders. She carried him a few feet before having to put him down, but she took a lot of pride in picking him up in the first place!

Due to hunting every day for the tribe, she sometimes teases the Nunh and Tia of her tribe, challenging the Nunh jokingly and wrestling with them, claiming she will be the next Nunh for their tribe to the Tia and telling them they needed to step it up and the like. She knows she is strong and enjoys showing it off.

Relationships and Sexuality

X'nala is hesitant to have relationships outside of the tribe, and often doesn't. She just doesn't see the point, nor does she really know where to look, what to expect, or who she'd be interested in. It's hard to impress her, and often others don't. She tends to look for those who will challenge her, friendships, and general company.

She is very untrusting toward men's advances, not men as a whole. She enjoys their company and revels in the challenge that they can give her, and their personalities just mesh well for her.

Sex makes her very uncomfortable, and will not try anything with someone she doesn't trust fully. She see's no point in doing it for fun, since she grew up in a place where it was just for baby making, and she'd like to keep it that way. Due to the bad run in she had with one of her tribes Nunh, she is very picky and sexuality is a fairly uncomfortable topic for her.

In simplest terms, she is Asexual. She's uninterested, and would rather have friends and possible romance than sex.

Friends

X'kohu Tia: They lived together in the tribes in the shroud, though when the tribe split for territory spreading she followed X'vett and the others and hasn't spoken much to Kohu in a long while. She recently found him chatting with a lady in the quicksand, and brought him a severed aldgoat head to give to her. It was interesting, to say the least.

Mhastoum Greinsyn: Nala met him in the Quicksand while she was visiting and he gave her a rock fish. She's still confused over why, but the gesture she took as one of starting a friendship so here they are. When he tried to shake her hand and she headbutted his knuckles, it formed a greeting for the two of them because he's too tall to knock foreheads with. She figures that it works all the same.

Kaohastraal Aeseroix(Sitting Ox): She met the Roe recently while she was in the city to practice weaving. While taking a break at the Quicksand, he struck up conversation and opened up to her about quite a bit. She took that as a sign of trust and respect, and in return gave him hers. He offered to walk her home and she shown him where her half of the tribe had settled. She warmed up to him fairly quickly, and she has become quite curious about the Roegadyn traditions, as well as Thautamurgy as a whole because he practices it. She feels their friendship will be a good one, and looks forward to keeping it.
