Character

General

Xuri has no family to speak of. His father abandoned him when he was 10, leaving him to be raised by a charming Hyur family; hence the level of comfort he has with other races of Eorzea. Being discarded by his only remaining family has an obvious impact on the young Miqo'te and his personality. He quickly developed a sharp sense of humor; dry and with the use of very quick wit. When the time came for Xuri to spend time alone with his thoughts, he struggled. His mind thinking back to time with his father. Instead of allowing time to think, he filled the gaping void left from his childhood with work and hobbies. Even in his younger years, Xuri was very adept with his fists, taking every opportunity to train in the nearby woods. When the time came where his fists were too sore and bloody to continue, he would relax with a spot of fishing.

On a warm day, after a spell of fishing, Xuri returned home, somewhat perturbed and dissatisfied. His life was becoming mundane and regimented. Nothing was enough for him any more. After a long and emotional talk with his adopted Hyur family, Xuri decided it was time to leave. Explore the unexplored, travel to parts unknown and meet the strangers of the world.

Appearance

A moderately sized Miqo'te, Xuri stands at 5"6 with a reasonably athletic build. He has pearl white hair with red streaks. How these appeared is a mystery to Xuri himself. His youthful good looks still remain as he has a very kind face, with one ice blue eye and one silver. Surprisingly, for a Seeker of the Sun, Xuri is a very pale Miqo'te.

Personality

Xuri is not what is expected from your every day Miqo'te. Outgoing and talkative, he is never one to shy away from a conversation. On more than one occasion his sharp tongue has been known to get him into trouble. If there's a joke to be made or observation to be had; chances are Xuri has made it. There are not many instances where he becomes a recluse, apart from occasions where family of others are involved. Due to his somewhat emotional and painful past, this only serves to remind him of it.

Combat

General

Very quick and nimble. Xuri was fortunate enough to be born with a natural athleticism. His fighting style can be described as a touch flamboyant, but it only sets to reflect his personality. Strength is not his finest quality, but nor does it need to be. Due to the pace with which he fights damage is dealt with regularity.
