Personality

Quirks

He goes through periods of time where he may only say a word a month. Recalling how to communicate affectively can be a challenge for the young Miqo'te. Y'tuma will often mimic the speech patterns of those he lives around, currently the Ixal of Ehcatl.

Flaws

His biggest flaws would be his overwhelming emotions. He has little control over himself, which will lead to emotional, if not feral outbursts

Fears

Nothing is known yet.

Talents

Intelligence

Comparisons

Y'tuma is a lot like San from Princess Mononoke mixed with Toothless from How To Train Your Dragon

Treasured Objects

His Monoa mask. Given to him by the Elder Seedseer, Kan-E-Senna. A rough translation of monoa from the Padjal language is, “To sit silently on the land and speak.” He wears the mask all the time, the only exceptions include sleeping, eating, and whenever he’s around a certain someone special. He also has his mother’s wedding necklace, made of antelope horn with exquisite quality.

Abilities and Skills

Personal

Weapons

Y'tuma is a genius with a bow and arrow. He crafts his own arrows, each one handmade. He wields the fabled Bow of Owls, taken

Magic

Y'tuma has a strong propensity for the magical arts, especially in the art of Summoning. Growing up in the Shroud, he found a natural talent of listening to the earth, the wind. If he is around too many elementals or magically sources, the sound of them can cause him headaches and irritability.

Crafting

Y'tuma is an accomplished Carpenter and Goldsmith. He often crafts jewelry from bone or horn, and his woodwork utilizes lumber from the Shroud as well as feathers from various avian sources. He also has training as a Leatherworker, Fisher, Botanist and Miner.

Relatives

His mother was a pureblooded Keeper, orphaned at a young age, was adopted by a nomadic Jaguar tribe.

She was also the only woman to rebuff the Nunh’s advances, not that he minded too much. Falling head over heels for her, he brought flowers, pelts, made bone jewelry for her, but every gift she politely refused. This continued for quite a few cycles until one night, under the light of a full moon, she finally accepted a necklace made of intricately-carved horn. Upon the acceptance, the Nunh, quite curious, asked what had changed this time around. “Nothing,” she told him, “I just enjoyed watching the hunt.”

Y’tuma was born in the following months.

She showed a magnificent talent for magicks, becoming the tribe’s main healer. Her Conjury, however, was dwarfed by her ability to summon. It was this power which eventually consumed her.

The story goes one day she heard a call, rising from her slumber and walked off into the woods. Never to be seen again. The only thing that remained was the necklace given to her. Y’tuma was five when it happened, and went on to be raised by his father. Nine years after his mother’s disappearance, the Nunh of a warring Jaguar tribe killed his father in cold blood and absorbed the tribe into his own. It was this Nunh that nearly killed and banished Y’tuma to a life of exile.
