"Lackadaisical" is an underused word at the best of times. Here and now, it accurately describes the transient being known as Zau'li. Wandering in an apparent daze, the Keeper tends towards a dubiously clanless solitude, a vacant stare and twitching ears belying some mischief waiting to happen. Rarely found in one place for too long a stretch, encounters with this particular Miqo'te have been described as "confusing" or, for the generous, "bizarre".
Standing at average height for his clan and kind, Zau'li does not strive to stand out - drab, travel-worn leathers tend to be his dress of choice.
With narrow, heavy lidded eyes that often appear unfocused, it'd be easy enough to assume that the Keeper were about to drop into a stupor at any given moment. Though he habits towards looking distinctly stern, Zau'li's weather-beaten brow both a curse and a blessing, his features are otherwise fine: a pointed chin, narrow cheeks and aquiline nose. Broad of shoulder, there's an undeniable account of raw strength tucked away within that lanky frame of his. The ornate, if aged, blade at the Keeper's hip may speak for itself. Of Note:
Soft spoken at best and taciturn at his worst, Zau'li is a rare creature to strike up any sort of meaningful conversation - much preferring the casual chatter that frequents between travelers. Often wearing a scowl, the Keeper never appears to begrudge those seeking his attention, but that dismal expression never quite shifts all the same.
For all that, Zau'li has a particular sense of humor that lingers about the absurdist. Prone to tell particular stories of dubious truth, there are yet worse traveling companions.
