With her delicate constitution and usual fancy clothing, Vi is far from an imposing figure. She’s built in a thin pear shape which is highlighted by her modest shoulder width and bust. She has a mousy nose, freckles, and lacks any hint of muscular tone. Her hair is pin-straight and looks as if it were once styled with a blunt knife and only recently began to recover. Her hands are clad in thin silk gloves and though the right is sometimes uncovered in public, the left is not. She has pierced ears, but nothing adorns them. The quality of her clothing’s fabric implies that she’s able to afford jewelry, but no piece can be spotted upon her person. She wears a classically subtle Azeyma Rose scent with edges of La Noscean orange and salt. Though seldom visible, the bottom of her right shoulder blade is marked with a cowry shell tattoo in dark brown ink. The curves of the cowry shell are not entirely even, suggesting that the mark was created by an amateur. Walking with a brisk step, there is a vague sense of restlessness and urgency in her motions. Her voice is modulated and the stiffness that sometimes creeps into it implies a thorough level of calculation.

The second living child of Limsa Lominsan natives Patrick and Rosa Lindon, Violet was born into privilege. By the time of her birth, the family’s shipping company Lindon Line had overcome the majority of its pirate hindrances and had acquired a strong reputation and profit margin. Though encouraged to try her hand at various professions growing up, any job she obtained was for purely recreational purposes and not monetary benefits. This lead to the development of a poor work ethic. Due to the family’s high involvement in trading and their devotion to Nald’thal, Vi received thorough training in the art of thaumaturgy from a young age. Perhaps because of the religious connotations, it seems to be one of few things that can raise her out of laziness. Her longest held job has been at the Arrzaneth Ossuary in Ul’dah. The Lindon family’s profits soon brought the interest of the Ul’dahn nobles of house Harlow and, from the age of eleven, Vi has had an engagement arranged with their son Eduard Harlow for their families' mutual benefit. However, the pair have yet to be wed. In recent months, Vi has transferred from the Arrzaneth Ossuary to Thal’s Respite in Eastern Thanalan. According to the Thaumaturge’s Guild, she transferred of her own volition. However, those keeping up with such locations might recognize that her tutor, Bejari Beja, has as of late conducted a series of rather disagreeable lectures on the state of learning and censorship in the Thaumaturge’s Guild. As such, there has been a shift to a more negative view of those that keep the lalafell company.
