GENERAL INFORMATION
A healer from an Ishgardian minor house, Mae works with a small charity group that employs the noble and devote. Through them, she travels to impoverished areas of Eorzea to provide medical aid to those who need it - a duty which she places (or at least tries to place) above all else.
APPEARANCE
Standing tall and slender, Mae carries herself with an expectant presence. Her hair is a pale, near platinum, blonde that catches the light brightly. It falls just past her shoulders when down, and has the slightest hint of a curl when she lets it. Her eyes are a light blue, and her clean, pale skin speaks to a lifestyle that values the indoors. The use of make-up is apparent on her face, though none of it is dark, nor all that heavy.
PERSONALITY
A result of her upbringing and education, Mae's personality is a strong one. Determined and fervent in her duty, she devotes herself to the care of others as a way to give thanks to the privilege she has been given. Yet still, she is not completely selfless in her actions - the woman takes pride in her appearance and is not above delving into finery. She is both level-headed and patient, genuinely feeling warmth towards most other people, while at the same time expecting things to go according to her plan and for her words to be listened to. Deviation from her plans by others can sometimes lead to bouts of pettiness.
A life spent mainly in Ishgard has left some traces of xenophobia within Mae. She openly gravitates towards most Midlanders and Wildwood, but readily believes and accepts the stereotypes surrounding most other races. While she tries not to let this effect her work, nor does she openly speak out against other races, it is evident in the slight uncertainty she has when dealing with these 'others'.

COMBAT & WEAPONRY
Mae's training has left her belonging in a clinical setting. Though a strong healer, with her work being fast and effective, it also requires a proximity that combat doesn't readily allow. Mae is capable of channeled, distance healing, but it drains her ability quickly and is not nearly as strong as her touch work.
She is untrained in weaponry, at most carrying with her a staff. While working in small towns, this is nothing more than a simple crook staff that seems oddly out of place with the rest of the finery she wears. Life back in the city sees her using a much more ornamental staff - a silver heirloom gifted to her by her grandmother.
FAMILY
Mae grew up in a household that admired accomplishment and scorned laziness. Members of a minor Ishgardian household, they wanted for nothing, and Mae reaped the benefits of a strong education and a family which supported each other's passions. Particularly close with her grandmother, she has followed in the woman's footsteps in becoming a healer. She loves her family fiercely, frequently writing them correspondence while she works abroad and they live their lives within Ishgard.
