A P P E A R A N C E

Yenh appears to be aloof and distant, as her appearance reflects on the entirety of herself. Her skin tone is pristine pale, save for some slight blemishes. Her hair projects a union of asymmetrical styles, with tame bangs that seem to bounce off the cheeks and wild layers that protect the nape. It holds a jet black hue, with a sheen that parallels moonlight, while a brilliant shade of vermillion taunts the sun's beams. Her eyes are contemplative and alert; always appearing calm and unmoved. Her eyebrows are tame, giving her casual expression an eternal sense of curiosity. A quiet carnelian hue allows unsuspecting bystanders to stumble into her unique pools, while also hurrying themselves away.

P E R S O N A L I T Y

Yenh is normally pensive, phlegmatic, and often withdrawn. Her demeanor is usually quieted, affecting her appearance greatly. She is the exact opposite of a socialite, frequently leaving conversations discontinued or refusing to speak unless spoken to first. Yenh tends to come off as hostile and uncooperative, especially to strangers, appearing to be a difficult and complex person at first glance for she is unfortunately victim to first impressions. It doesn't help that she is also an unusually straight-forward person, which suggests a lack of social tact. Being a calculative person, she doesn't hesitate to "abuse" the notion that she may appear cute in order to elicit a reaction or get her way with certain things. Furthermore, although she admires fair-play, Yenh would not hesitate to blatantly cheat in order to gain an edge in most situations.

Under her apathetic guise is a drastically different entity, though this softer side is very scarcely witnessed. This uncommon personality of hers is that of a normal Lalafell that could easily blend in with society. Normally unheard of in the first place, Yenh is actually very well-spoken and mature. She is genuinely kind and demure, wise and knowledgeable, though very seldom she can also be a spectacularly impulsive character. There is a peppy side to her, and at times, Yenh can be very motivating to others.

Yenh is a tomboy in the sense that she was not raised up as a proper female, but still holds the subtle aspects of being feminine. She fumes over her appearance at times and possesses an overdramatic sense of imagination--she is a daydreamer, and a secret romanticist. When stumbling onto the subject of love, she is quite eager but rather oblivious of the subject, and will often become confused.

L I K E S ■ Free Company: Nothing is more important to Yenh than her family - the rowdy bunch known as the Friendly Galka free company - no matter how much she denies it. ■ Fishing: Started simply as a hobby to pass the time, fishing has done a lot for Yenh--from keeping food in her stomach to paying the bills. Occasionally, she pursues ichthyological research when she has more time than she knows what to do with. ■ Tranquil settings: Yenh spends a lot of her time fishing, so she's come to enjoy the quiet and scenic locations she stumbles upon. Her favorite location so far is the bridge at Little Solace, East Shroud overhead Springripple Brook. ■ Faeries: After discovering the secrets of the Nymian civilization and their Scholars, Yenh has developed a great deal of affection towards the faeries she was bestowed, Selene & Eos. Though they do not speak to her, she feels that the two possess their own distinctive personalities.	D I S L I K E S ■ The Garlean Empire: As an invader of Eorzea, Yenh holds great contempt for the Garlean Empire. Wherever the empire's vanguards travel, they imprint a trail of destruction and desecration onto the beautiful land and its inhabitants. ■ Goblins: Similar to the dislike for the Garlean Empire, Yenh moderately dislikes the nomadic Goblins for recklessly pilfering and polluting the lands they settle in. She's steadily come to convalesce her relationship with goblins from the time she's spent in Idyllshire. ■ Alcohol: Yenh has a great dislike for alcohol and bitter drinks in general. Alcohol does awful things to Lalafells as they're not normally distilled with the tiny race in mind, and in particular Yenh who becomes nearly intoxicated just from wafting a tankard of weak Gridanian ale. ■ Egotistic individuals: Yenh does not get along well with prominent individuals that boast great egos or easily draw crowds of people. As a self-kept person, she prefers to associate with humble and quieter folk.	Q U I R K S ■ Grumbling: When something dissatisfying occurs, Yenh has a habit of grumbling to herself. This is not a quirk that she's aware of herself. ■ Uncooperativeness: One of Yenh's most apparent quirks is the amount of effort or resources needed for her to fulfill a request. If her pockets aren't promised to be lined with gil or some great favor needed repayment, she's likely to stubbornly ignore all pleas.
S T R E N G T H S ■ Thaumaturgy & Black Magicks: Yenh has a frightening capacity for destructive magicks and seems to enter a cruel trance at will while using it. Often possessing a genuine desire to destroy her enemies, this frequently displayed disposition of hers is that of a natural-born killer with no remorse for life while on the battlefield. ■ Curative Magicks & Technicks: On the other hand, Yenh also has a great talent for curative methods. Well-learned in the arts of Sharlayan astrology, Nymian curative technicks, and Padjali conjury, Yenh can be both a guardian angel or reaper of men in intensive melee.	W E A K N E S S E S ■ Physical Disadvantage: As a Dunesfolk Lalafell, Yenh naturally has a disadvantage compared to the other races in almost any physical aspect. Yenh also becomes fatigued very easily and can drag any group down if dungeoneering for extended periods of time. As if hosting a hidden fount of strength however, Yenh still manages to expertly catch fish many times her size regardless. ■ Disciple of War ineptitude: Due in part to her lacking of physical attributes, Yenh is extremely inept with Disciple of War Arts. She can hardly wield a sword let alone guide her small fists to enemies. This is a matter of great distress for her.	M O T I V A T I O N S ■ The Realm: Despite Yenh not always being a citizen of mainland Eorzea, she has grown to love the land and wishes to preserve its beauty and bounty. She fights the Garlean Empire partially because of this simple desire. ■ Freebird: Another strong motivation for Yenh is individualist as she simply values her own freedoms. As a person that aligns with chaotic neutrality, Yenh tries to avoid being bound by an authority - being led on by the tutelage of anarchy, or the zeal of an idealist. If possible, Yenh would prefer to be an adventurer forever.
