A medium sized Miqo with vivid purple eyes and highlighted black hair (which he constantly changes the colour of). Scars & Markings: One on his face over his nose, one on his back near his tail. They are both hidden. Voice: Cheerful, light, bordering on sing-songy. It's smooth and usually filled with emotion or tinged with a purr. Clothing: He loves wearing fancy clothes and will dress up for any occasion in whatever he sees fit! He has a wide array of clothes for every event, and can go from looking rogue-ish to fancy in a heartbeat. Smart clothes seem to be his choice for everyday wear, however. Name The tribe of the Sali’rah reside at the southernmost point of Thanalan, deep in the Sagolii Desert. Whilst they wander, their territory is slim, and they are only to leave their main home in the sun-burnt rocks for ‘raids’. These raids include attacking wanderers searching for the home of the Drake tribe in the Forgotten springs. Raids are not frequent but happen with such ferocity that people who stay into them are rarely found… for they are burnt to ashes and lost to the sand, never arriving at their destination. Rax was born within the Sali’rah to the usual childhood treatment; no parents, no coddling. When babies are born within the tribe they are taken from their mother and treated as an adult as soon as they can use magic, meaning like all the others, Rax does not know who birthed or sired him or his older brother, Ra’ahma. Gifted in the dark arts, though the tribe stays loyal to the Warden and her teachings, in favor for traditional hunting methods the Sali’rah was founded by a Thaumaturge who, through lineage, gave the gift to his children and their children. Thus, there has always been dark magic within the tribe. Rax would be no different from this, as from a child he too was forced to pick up a wand and to participate in the raids that had made them so infamous. The elders argued that without said raids, they would stave under Azeyma’s radiance, and that it was not her will for her children to die so disgustingly. Like all other children, forced to threaten adventurers with the surprise of fire, he and his brother were outstanding in their ability to threaten and coax any wayfarer to give up every belonging to them-- before leaving them to die in the desert. Born meek and filled with worry, though he was forced to sit in to listen to the Elder’s rattling voice about their history and future, he couldn’t stand it. The burnt remnants of corpses on the dunes, the look on his clanmates face when they scored a big hit, the dishonorable life they led. The day that he finally killed for himself was the day he cracked, and he begged his brother to escape with him. Ra’ahma, a little more headstrong than his little brother and far more confident in magic, decided to agree-- and the night they tried was the night where the sky lit up with fire as they were discovered sneaking in the dark away from camp. Seekers of the sun would never be found awake under the cold gaze of the moon. “Please, let him go,” Ra’ahma instantly pleaded, “He is young and will probably die to the desert. I will stay here in his stead. I am talented, you all know this-- I will work twice as hard in his absence.” But the tribe bore fangs at the child traitor, bristling from ear tip to tail. No-one ever left the tribe… no-one. Not alive, at least. But on his knees Ra’ahma begged, and said he, “I will take my life should you take his. Menphina is watching! She will tell the sun what has transpired, and what a curse that would be?” Ra fled. He fled into the pitch black desert, not looking back as his brothers radiant green eyes dimmed with tears.
