General Information Simeon is an Elezen of Highborn actually roaming the roads of Eorzea under the banner of his House, even if he keep it as far as possible from himself. Burdened with being the last remaining child, he had to take up duties as the Heir, forcing him to leave the Dragoon Knight Order for them to have to be politically neutral. Still sour about it, he does intend to keep as far as possible from Ishgard if he is allowed too, way more confortable in the company of adventurers and the like. After some tries to stick with different flocks of adventurers, mercenaries and the like of them, he seem to be back to his root of wandering aimlessly around, following what he hears of interest. ❝ A proper Ishgardian? ❞ Appearance Eyes Hair Skin Build Voice Purple Short, Black Tanned Wolfish Strangely deep Bearing Laterality Scars Markings Style Straight Ambidextrous Too many Tattoos (Face, body) Upright Hair & Eyes When it come to hair, one should recognize that Simeon keep it pretty practical. If he used to have pretty long hair, his mostly nomadic style of life out of late have pushed him to keep it simple, with hair as short as possible not to hinder when wearing a helmet. Spiky as hell, his black hair seem always ruffled, whatever might be his efforts to comb it. So he mostly stopped to do it. Those knowing Simeon from long should be surprised by his eyes though, as they have changed from his old ice blue gaze to some strangely fiery purple hues, a change he would likely prefer not to talk about. Bad memories are involved here. Though, one advantage of those eyes is to reflect perfectly his emotions, be it concern, affection or more like, blazing anger. Quite the stare. Physique & Markings If there is a word to describe Simeon build, it would be <wolfish>. Usually joking himself about being "only sinews and bones", he is a tall prick with the trademark muscles of his kin. Though, extended physical training and a liking to it have made him to be mostly made of those, able of a surprising strength and some good weight. Strangely, many seem to find him good-looking when he would simply qualify himself as Sharp. He have an angular and serious face, only accentuated by his often furrowed brows, broken way to many times nose and thin lips. Several scars run down over his face, only to make him look even more serious, when he is a clusterfuck of them under the neck. One doesn't make the most of his years battling without taking quite the number of scars and Simeon was a seriously reckless one. He even stopping counting them (and caring sometimes too). Lately, he got some tattoos thrown in the melee, from a very drunken night with adventurers. When he wake up, his face was inked with maze-like tattoo on his left cheek and about almost the whole of his left torso side. As shameful as it was before, he finally grow accustomed to those and wouldn't have them erased for any cost, even if he often can be found idly following their pattern, lips pursed in thoughts about the signification of this design. Hygiene & Attire Simeon have been worked to the bone about clothing and anyone can see it. Proper clothing is a must have for him and if his outfits have grown lighter from going out of Ishgard, he is still rarely seen with even shirts with more than a single fold. The title of Fancy People could indeed apply to the man that take great care of his well-being, cleaning himself as soon as possible and trying to keep his clothes neat. Well, given his rough ways around, he have a thing for practical and solid clothing more than fine ones, easy to maintain and to change, for it to be often damaged from his fights. He own too several armours, mostly heavy plates, fighting with a strange swiftness only allowed by extended training when it come to handling those hellish cans. Yet, he is slowly adapting to the climate of southern countries, more and more using light plate and leather mixed together if nothing ask for more protection. Way more agreable. Personality Psychological Profile Simeon is quite the instinctual type for sure. Blunt as a hammer even. Impulsive, quick to anger and forgive as well, reckless just as equally as caring when it come to others, he could easily be categorized as a bulldozer. Or things goes his ways and follow his choices or he usually make them. Simple of character, he simply do what he want to do, fairly ignoring the consequences if they bother him. Thrill-seeker just as well as born warmonger, he is quick to resort to whatever he think a situation may take, be it to mostly sacrifice himself. Few things can stop him once on his tracks, unless he admit being seriously wrong. Yet, when it come to everyday life, he is a quiet and calm guy, jester by choice, making fun of almost everything if he can. Life is already grim enough and his hands are far from clean, there is no use to get all gloomy about it. Man liking simple things, he is perfectly happy with a nap under the sun or a good meal as long as it fill his stomach. Of course, coming from nobility, he do appreciate the finer things but he mostly think them as good for special occasions. One grow dull when he let himself be immersed in earthly pleasure. The only exception about this rule come to relationships. Simeon is a man that -need- to touch others, to establish friendship with an accolade, to pat someone shoulder when sad. And of course, that make him a quite passionate man when it come to attraction. He doesn't shy himself from what he feel about people and seek company wholeheartedly. Loyal once in a serious relationship, he won't hesitate to have a one night thing if the impulse take him and is bound to no one. Voice Definitively not a melodic one. Simeon got a voice rugged by too many shouts and laughs, strangely deep given his build, moulded to be heard over a battlefield. He mostly conceal the more commanding edge of it if the situation allow it, highly conscious of his twisted place in Eorzea. Yet, no one could mistake the tone of one with an highly precise education, tone and prononciation as strict as hell. Quite unusual to hear him use any slang. Even his laughter is closer to a bark than a trill, loud and explosive. When seriously angry, it easily goes to a growl or a snarl, with again some unearthly resonance given his build. Philosophy & Mannerisms Do what you feel is right. One mostly could decipher Simeon's views over life choice like that. Bad or good, it only depend of who and how its looked at. It doesn't need reflection. When a friend is wounded you take care of it, when someone try to get you to fight you fight, when shit is raining down, you make the best of it. It goes pretty well with his usual blunt behaviour, making him just as much friends as enemies. Saying your mind without any kind of gloves on can be a double edged sword. Proud and impulsive, he is the kind to get head first into troubles and consider it a necessity. Well, it happen, you understand? When it come to mannerisms, he does have a couple of odds habits. Sniffing his food and drinks for having a keen nose, tilting his head to the side when puzzled, scratching his tattoos when uncomfortable or touching his ever present necklace when brooding are a few of them. Yet, the most meaningful might be the most discreet, shifting to stand on his left foot when he get angry. It come from being a spearman, to be able to trust forward in a flash. You're Ishgardian or not. ●Creating jewellery. A growing interest of him ●Brawling ●Singing. He doesn't sing often, but he does know how to do it ●Hunting. Have grown as a seriously good trapper. Not a bowman though. ●Chess. Might be surprising, but he genuinely appreciate a good game of chess to pass the eve.

(due to many lasting injuries) Aetheric Abilities Mastery: None Expert: None Average: None Novice: Easing of pain Weapon Training Mastery: Almost any type of spear (Halberd favoured though) Expert: Hand to hand combat, long/bastard sword Average: Bow. Novice: Knives and axes. Combat Relevant Skills High: Jumping around, Drawing attention, Armor use. Above Average: Taking blows(It's a skill to dampen them enough), Tactics, improvised weapons Average: Acrobatics (like a forward roll), Tracking, Riding. Low: Magical defence, Retreats. Non-Combat Abilities ● Bad reaction to Aether: Simeon is more or less what you may call allergic when it come to aether. Spell casted on him, be it beneficial or harmful cause him to get seriously burdened with itch, it's level depending of the power of the spell. That make magical burns almost intolerable while healing magic often push him to scratch open the just recovered wound. It's even worse when he try to cast magic, often becoming random for the itch to overcome his concentration. At most, he can teleport himself via the Aetherythe net on little distances and somehow ease a bit the pain from his wounds. That's all of his magical capacities. ● Field repairs: One can't really consider it an ability, but for sure, Simeon is quite the skilled guy when it come to repairing on the spot his gear with whatever he can find around. Bit of a scavenger maybe but useful when you fight often whatever might be the condition around. From piecing back together a broken spear shaft with a couple of metals rings and leather to tinkering a plate back in a wearable shape with a rock, he have great deal of experience on these emergency repairs. Just don't ask about anything magical or too technologically advanced. He ain't a walking god. ● Don't know how to swim: It might sound dumb, but Simeon never learned to swim. No real use in a mountain range after all. He is slowly trying to learn mostly by himself, but that shit kinda have him scarred, slowing his progress. Living now in the Mist help to tray daily to train about it, yet progress still is small Combat Abilities ● Ishgardian Dragoon: Simeon is in all earnest a typical Ishgardian Dragoon, even now not anymore part of the said order. As such, he can, by tapping into the awakened dragon blood coursing in his veins, draw forth the signature jumping powers of his former station. Using them to charge people head-first or avoid an obstacle, he is a highly mobile combattant as such. Yet he try to keep as a minimum his use of this ability for it to be taxing over the body and dangerous. Everyone know about the Change and he doesn't tap in a dragon-eye but his actual dragon blood from being a pure-blooded highborn. OOC Note Open for any type of combat, I don't play a combattant to evade it. From random to more advanced system like FATE-14 and freeform, I'll do everything, as long as it keep logical. Wounds and death doesn't scare me, a character grow old, sustain wounds and die like everyone. And wounds hurt. Still, please keep to yourself any void-god abilities, demon-summoning on the spot or being able to block a Giga's club bare-handed unless you have a really good explanation.

History . Disclaimer: . Sixth Astral Era Childhood Born into a House. Simeon is the second child of Lord Geoffroy & Lady Mirabelle of Sibaruse. As such, he received what may be qualified as... A sheltered education. Truth to be told, he didn't even left the house estate before his twelve. No matter how much he begged the guards or tried to sneak outside. As expected of a noble, from a responsable family, he was worked to the bone more than instructed regarding a large amount of subjects. All those proper things that nobility must know. From religious scriptures regarding Halone, to playing the harpsichord or reading a table dressing. A whole bother he would have gladly skipped if not put under heavy surveillance from his parents. That more or less coming from having an older brother already seen as a waste. At least, the more practical duties expected of a son from a warmonger House were way more enjoyable, kind of formatting the young blood into a reckless individual living through combat. There is only but little more to say regarding Simeon early years. Burdened by becoming the back up of his House, head first into the his studies and training, he had only but little ways to get some idle time. Taking care of his bastard half-sister or leaving for Mer' House. Kinda dull isn't it? Continuing later! RP Info Location & Probability Places where the character is very likely to be seen ■ Ishgard: Kinda rarely for now, make quick trips home and depart as soon as possible ■ Coerthas: Strangely, Simeon is way easily found into the lands around Ishgard than the city itself. Some business for sure. ■ The Shroud: Mostly while travelling between Ishgard and the rest of Eorzea. He is a known patron of the Bobbing Cork and often take part in whatever events happen around the way. Can't say it happen this often. ■ Gridania: Almost never. If you see him there, he is here on business matter. Or too wounded to move from it after a fight in the vicinity ■ Thanalan: More or less. If he likely evade the horrible heat of the place, he is often found around, running on various errants. ■ Ul'dah: The Jewel of the Sands have a pretty strong attraction over the Ishgardian, often found in the streets of the Sultanate. Yet, he is often quite cautious around those parts, for his own personal history with it to be pretty bad. ■ La Noscea: Recently, that's where you have the biggest chance to find him. Having settled in the residential areas around Limsa Lominsa, he is a common sight roaming around or training in his signatures plate armours. ■ Limsa Lominsa: Having settled in the vicinity, he is quite often there, for work or to relax a bit away from his den and the worrisome bunch living there. Affiliations Each of the following affiliation are perfectly known. Feel free to use as you wish. ■ Ishgard: Born there, serving it since his fifteen as a Dragoon Squire. His home and country even if he dislike the ongoing politics. Nothing is more precious to his eyes, even if he keep it from being known. ■ The Knight Dragoon Order of the Holy See: Dragoon for half his life, it make almost every memory he have of adulthood. Made of a handful of dragonkin fangs, it's a pretty discreet thing. ■ Dagger: If not roaming around in armour, Simeon usually keep on him a flat dagger. If a first he ostensibly showed it, time have made him to grow cautious about (and mostly Ul'dan folks), pushing him to conceal the blade tucked against a hip. As thin as possible, it's hardly a blade, far from being able to parry anything with. But that thing got some nasty point and keen edge for sure. ■ Compass, some parchment and coal: For having teleported around by crazed mages more than his share and left to rot in some completely unknown places, he have now the habit to travel around with always something to record his position and direction. Proved useful last time someone just dropped him in the middle of the desert. Like that. Usually, the whole is in a pouch hanging on his belt, just under the shirt. RP Limits I like to consider myself a flexible player who is willing to commit to a number of different types of scenes and role-play scenarios, but even I have my limits. If something is on the play list, assume it means yes, as long as it's within the context of the current play or ongoing plot. No's are typically a hard no, and it means don't ask. ■ I will play: About everything. I've roleplayed for long and can see that my character isn't me. As such, I'm fine with it being roughed up or roughing up people. More even, he is a warrior. And a seriously short tempered man. He is the kind that actually try to wound people. Not just slap them in the face and consider himself done. Though, a particular point regarding intimate scene, as much as I have nothing against it, they have to be logical and useful. Sex for sex, I have RL for that. ■ Ask about As much as I'm open to almost everything, asking about if you can cut an arm to Simeon never hurt. Don't expect me to just blindly follow your lead if you go all extreme without a reason. Compromises work with two peoples. ■ I won't play ERP for ERP (see statement above). No use, no interest.
