General Information

Willow is a kind young woman, fond of adventure and alcohol. She spends a good portion of her time people-watching in the Quicksand, hoping to eavesdrop on an interesting story for her next book.

Appearance

Willow is quite short, standing just over 5 fulms tall. She is lean, with very little muscle. Most notable is her dull, dark, slate-blue hair and the lingering scent of vanilla when she passes by. She has two birthmarks on her face, one under her left eye and the other under the right side of her mouth. Willow is often sleep-deprived, and makes no attempt to disguise it.

Mannerisms

Early Life

Childhood

Willow was primarily raised by her father, as her mother left shortly after her birth. He was a skilled culinarian, and passed on some of his knowledge to Willow from a very young age.

Adolescence

Willow grew distant from her father after a particularly rough argument, during which he told her "she would never succeed as an author". She moved away and explored Eorzea for some time, meeting new friends and growing fond of alcohol.

Adulthood

Willow never truly forgave her father for the argument they had. He passed away shortly after her 19th Nameday. By this time, Willow had already found work writing ledgers for a small trading company based in Ul'dah. She regrets her rash actions to this day.

Recent Times

Recently, Willow has been living off the savings she earned over the past five years. Her passion for writing has peaked, and she has taken to adventuring to seek the spark that will set off her masterpiece.

Rhelah'li Mewrilah ✿§♫ Willow met Rhelah'li on the day of All Saints' Wake, when her festive spirit got the best of her and led to her dancing atop the Quicksand's tables. After a short, embarrassing conversation regarding the dance, Willow asked Rhelah'li about himself, remarking on the Miqo'te's ash-colored skin. Speaking of his home and culture, Rhelah'li eventually offered to perform a ritual of Menphina's blessing, which Willow agreed to. After the ritual, he offered a massage, which - suprise - she agreed to as well. Both quickly came to enjoy the others' company, and they sat in the Milvaneth Sacrarium talking for some time before calling it a night. The two met again shortly after, and Willow elaborated on her writing goals for a short while before turning in for some much-needed sleep. • IC vs OOC

  If I'm not RP-tagged, I'm probably doing MSQ or leveling and am out of character. I prefer tanking, but Willow is most definitely not a Warrior.

• In-game Lore

  I am not terribly well-versed in FFXIV lore. If I make a lore mistake, please /tell me to correct it rather than point it out in-character. Willow is fairly knowledgeable about Hydaelyn history, and it should be assumed that she wouldn't make egregiously false statements regarding common lore. As for more obscure lore tidbits, feel free to correct Willow in-character. She would appreciate it, anyways.
