While his sons are busy finding work, he often takes time to explore the nearby cities and settlements, trying the varied cuisines he'd gone without for over two centuries. ■ Poetry. Bane carries a pocket journal with himself, both to jot down notes to remember and to immortalize any inspiration he may be struck with on the road. ■ Music. While the music of Eorzea is malms different from that of Golmore, he finds enjoyment in the unique and unfamiliar sounds, regardless of genre. Dislikes ■ Combat. Though he once enjoyed it in his youth, Bane often expresses a distaste for both participating in or even merely observing combat. He blames his old age. Quirks ■ Combat ability. Though he rarely partakes in it anymore, Bane is, by all accounts, a talented warrior - though he's long since passed his skills unto his sons and set them free upon the world. Appearance Bane stands roughly 7' tall, not counting another fulm of large, heavy ears that even he has some visible difficultly holding up. He is thick with muscle and healthy fat, and littered almost entirely with scars gained through his protection of the forest in his youth. His hands are clawed with sharp, thick talons that he (thankfully) makes an effort to cover, but are kept as a weapon of sorts should he find need of them. His eyes and messy hair are a deep raven, with skin nearly matched in tone; it's marked across his eyes with a streak of black warpaint, accented by bright red on the bridge his nose and cheeks. He is described as tall and strong, with a charming smile and an eagerness to explore. His talents are varied, but balanced. Bane worries for him the most.
