General Information ❝ Everything I do, I do for myself. ❞ Appearance Eyes Hair Skin Build Voice Emerald green Varies from bright golden blonde to platinum. A healthy pink glow, suspiciously flawless. Highly curvaceous with surprising musculature. Either soft-spoken and pleasant, or commanding and authoritative. Bearing Laterality Scars Markings Style Relaxed, aloof Ambidextrous, but favors right. For all her battles, she is deceptively unmarred. Strange, extremely faint markings on her arms and back. Typical Ishgardian fashion when necessary; otherwise, casual and relaxed. Easy to move in. Hair & Eyes Jenivieve's hair never seems to grow longer or become shorter unless she wills it, and even then it always seems to be the same length after each new hairstyle. She is well-kept, never a strand out of place, straight as a pin until the ends curve up and outward. Her emerald eyes are always crystal clear, even as she tends to space out and look elsewhere. Sometimes, when the light catches them, they look deceptively silvery, as if a film had been placed over the original hue. Still, her gaze is described as soul-piercing, and she is much more perceptive than she wants people to believe. Physique & Markings For someone who boasts a considerable amount of magical prowess, Jenivieve's physique is that of a fighter, despite having a well-formed hourglass figure. Under her clothes, she has the musculature one would expect of a fistfighter, and the reaction time of one to boot. Yet, in spite of all this, Jenivieve's skin is entirely unmarred--strange, given that she has many dangerous stories of her previous adventures. One would say that a person like her wouldn't exist normally. Hygiene & Attire As a doctor and generally concerned with her overall looks and well-being, Liliana prides herself on a good hygenic routine, bathing at least once, sometimes twice a day depending, and nourishing her skin with herbs and natural lotions. She created her own little bath "gems", the inspiration taken from her carbuncles, and uses those as well after a rather harrowing day. Her scent can be described as mostly "clean"--nothing too heavy, very lightly herbal or floral. Unlike most of the mercenaries under her and her husband's command, Garen himself included, she prefers to wear elegant, flowy dresses and corsets, and is completely inundated with the latest in Ishgardian fashion. Aside from that, a good, fashionably functional pair of boots and thigh-highs are the cornerstones of her wardrobe. Personality Psychological Profile Outwardly, Liliana is a thorough thinker, and comes across as a diplomat for the guild at large; oftentimes, she is in talks with Grand Companies that come calling for Fireborn's services, and what she lacks in frugality and thriftiness--something her husband has in spades--she more than makes up for with level-headed politics. However, behind those calculating eyes is a woman who has seen more than her fair share of devastation and experienced even then some herself, and she holds with her crushing survivor's guilt and PTSD from cataclysmic events in her life. Voice Her voice is very measured, very paced, as if she is consciously taking steps to keep herself from getting exciteable or talking over everyone's heads. She has a habit of using a heavily expanded upon vocabulary, and often loses people in a conversation if she doesn't catch herself. She appears as the calm one between her and Garen, and offers a more levelheaded insight to things. Philosophy & Mannerisms "Facts before faith" has been her motto for years, and she abided by it stringently. As a historian, and a doctor, and overall a student of knowledge, having the facts before blindly diving into things has kept her head above water thus far. She sees the forest for the trees, but also cares about the smaller details. Anything that is left in the grey area is unacceptable for her, and she will go as far out of her way as necessary to solve any puzzles left undone. Liliana excels at this. ● Education: She is a Grandmaster of Medicine, working towards her grandmastery in magic--the equivalent of a master's and doctorate's education. As such, she is extremely book-smart and meshes well with others of the same mind. ● The Power to Transcend Language: As a wielder of the Echo, Lily can understand all languages spoken or read. However, she has made a point to further understand ancient languages such as Allagan, as she feels the Echo only gives a base understanding. She does not fully understand how the translation function of the Echo works, but she is determined to not be wholly reliant upon it in her work. Combat Abilities ● The Power to Transcend Magic: Lily has always been a natural and quick-learner to anything magical, but her specific Echo ability further powers that. If she has learned the spell and can figure out some sort of component with which to cast it, she can channel the aether immediately to bring it to fruition. Additionally, she can expend aether for tougher, more draining spells with the fact that she is an aetheric battery--in possession of much more aether than she should be. ● Battle Summons: As a practitioner of arcanima, Lily utilizes a variant of combative summoned creatures--from the supportive fairy that she calls "Iris", to her ever-faithful battle-ready carbuncles, Topaz and Smoky (named after smoky quartz). ● Blood Magic/Golemancy: Used for combat and mundane purposes, Lily harbors the knowledge of Amdapori golemancy, a well-taught subject in Sharlayan. As such, she knows how to employ contraptions for defense and offense both. A rarer sight to see, as it's nothing something she's keen to resort to. OOC Note Lily is essentially a super-powered Calculator job. However, instead of low attack power, she suffers from the classic "glass cannon" trope, and it doesn't take much for her to go down.
