Physique & Markings Thinner than your average Lalafell, and short. She tends to walk with a slight gait. Ikoko's forehead is adorned with a black tattoo made up of tiny strange runes. Hygiene & Attire Ikoko is always clean and well maintained, although she smells of burnt wood most of the time. Her clothes are often fancy-looking and dyed with very dark colors. Personality Psychological Profile Ikoko, on first impression, seems like a cold and dour, emotionless husk of a middle-aged, half-crippled, magic addled witch, but tends to warm very quickly toward people in her own way and mannerisms. She is often harshly judgmental of small things, and worse, tends to come off as snooty and snarky regarding anything magic or history related. Despite these impressions, Ikoko is kind-hearted toward those she warms up to, and often offers advice and knowledge to anyone who seeks it. There are, however, things she will not speak about, leaving an air of mystery around the mage. Voice Ikoko's voice is a droning and monotone, although high-pitched. There is little excitement to her words, even when she appears to be excited. Philosophy & Mannerisms Ikoko believes in self-worth most of all, and to that end believes that anyone can do anything with enough effort. Unfortunately, she is also a pessimist, and also believes that most people won't put forth the effort anyway, leaving them as failures. History . Disclaimer: This is a work of (poorly written) fiction. Names, characters, places and incidents are entirely fictional. Any resemblance to any Lalafell; living, dead, or transformed into a Tonberry, is purely coincidental. . Sixth Astral Era Childhood Little is told about Ikoko's childhood. It's known that she was an only child born in a (now defunct) village off the coast of Vylbrand with an aetheric malady which caused her bone joints immense pain, and wasn't a very sociable child. In her adolescence, she left her home to pursue magical studies and rose through the ranks of the old thaumaturgy hierarchy before becoming an independent researcher and having published several tomes of her findings on the subject. Seventh Umbral Era Adulthood After the turn of the era, Ikoko became infatuated with the newly revealed Crystal Tower and Allagan, aligning herself with the Sons of Saint Coinach for a time and being a part of one of the first expedition teams to travel inside the Tower and unlock its secrets although she now refuses to speak much on the subject, having seemingly been traumatized by something within. It's believed this trauma is pertinent to her current mannerisms, having been a somewhat talkative (if not haughty) Lalafell beforehand. After parting ways with the research group, Ikoko set off toward the newly open-bordered Ishgard, where she became more aware of Nym and Mhach, having met some of the scholars and mages of Sharlayan. Upon her return to Eorzea, Ikoko signed up with the Drakensguard Free Company to seek out new adventures. In Recent Times Moving Forward Ikoko is currently with the Drakensguard..
