Hygiene & Attire Cata's clothing is more practical than fashionable, and she bathes often, her sense of smell heightened due to her lack of sight. Personality Psychological Profile Cata is a simple Lalafell. She enjoys helping others, but is a huge pushover. After recent events, however, she is seeking to remedy this, and will sometimes become rebellious, trying to forge her own path instead of having others forge it for her. Despite all this, Cata does have a small mischievous streak, often pulling practical jokes that more often than not go too far. The only thing she does not compromise on is Kye. When Kye is on the line, she will fight tooth and nail to protect him. Even as kind as she likes to be, she can still get serious, or dislike people, even if it takes a lot to get under her skin, mainly; hurting her physically. Cata has a very low tolerance for pain when not in a fight. Cata can be a dangerous enemy, even if she never throws the first punch. When she gets going, she's relentless. Voice Cata is very soft spoken, hesitant in her words almost. It is very easy to drown her voice out. Philosophy & Mannerisms Cata is self-sacrificing, and will often give up her own needs to help others, even when she cannot afford it. History . Disclaimer: I claim dis. Sixth Astral Era Childhood Surprisingly, for such a helpful and open Lalafell, not a lot is known about how Cata grew up. What is known is that Cata grew up somewhere in the Dravanian Hinterlands with her now deceased mother and father, being kicked out of her home at the age of 7. After meeting Kye Karu, whom had just been separated from everyone he knew, Cata had shown him how to survive, and they'd spent 3 years traveling together. (10-13 years old) They got attacked, and split apart. Cata spent a large amount of time searching for Kye, before running into Helvetius, and eventually discovering Kye once more. Seventh Umbral Era Adulthood Sometime after the Calamity, Cata moved something from Dravania to Coerthas. She shows an uncanny knowledge of Allagan Technology. A song from her childhood -24.24.Alpha Dawn has come... gone the moon. Till you rest this very morrow. Soon the moon will rise, to your surprise. Showing their silent sorrow. Gone goes orange into a silver white. Gone goes the white into the blackest night. Till the morning, when dawn has come. In Recent Times Moving Forward After finding Kye, Cata's spent most of her time doing odd jobs and learning how to be an Astrologian. Cata completed her Astologian training. After certain events, the death of a friend, she has also gained a Dark Knight soulstone. The experience left Cata with a desire to be stronger than she is, and she has grown as a result.

Blindness Rules

Despite Cata's seemingly superpowered hearing, it does have a few rules to it.

• In a dead quiet room, she can pick out the softest sound, but requires a moment to work out what it was.
• In a busy room, she can distinguish familiar sounds, but will miss softer sounds.
• In a loud room, she's overwhelmed, and will likely have trouble even hearing voices.
• The less sounds, the longer it takes for her to work out what the sound was.
• She hears better in a closed space. EG: Indoors
