The Keeper woman has never particularly being on the right side of the law, even during the time where she was a member of the Black Sails in the Maelstrom. A criminal from birth, Vex comes from a large, yet tightknit and insular, clan of Keepers that operate out of Moraby Bay in La Noscea. On first look, it's easy to spot Vex out in a crowd, the Keeper makes a striking figure with broad shoulders, corded and toned musculature, and most of all the blue tattoo that stretches across her face. Vex is a fiercely loyal individual who will do any form of work for anyone, provided that a fair amount of gil is offered for her services. She's been a soldier, a killer-for-hire, a bodyguard, a security guard, and on occasions a thief. In terms of how she operates when hired for a job, Vex often plays the role of the quintessential thug who will not hesitate to kill, maim, or damage someone if her current employer or superior orders her to do it. In recent times Vex has sought more peaceful and legitimate work, and has therefore found a job as a security guard for the Drunken Moogle, though she can sometimes be found tending the bar if need be, and working as a bodyguard independently. Scars & Markings: The most obvious marking Vex has is the characteristic blue tattoo that runs across the bridge of her nose, her brow, and her eyes. She has a tattoo of a ship with red sails on roiling waters on her left shoulderblade, the famous words of the Maelstrom, 'Till Sea Swallows All', emblazoned on her person in proud and fancy Eorzean script. Some of her criminal nicknames often mirror the Keeper's stupidity and simplicity, Vexi Threefinger being one of the prominent ones that owes it's namesake from the three fingers remaining on her left hand. There is also a significant amount of scarring on both of her hands, although it is random and has no clear pattern in itself the sheer amount could be likened to that of a cross-hatch. Other than the odd small scar on her body the only one of note is a large scar that runs from her neck across to and on her right shoulder, in some areas it looks almost bubbled as if from a serious burn or explosion. Voice: Vex has somewhat of a deep voice for a woman, and it can often be raspy if she's been smoking or drinking, yet for the most part it is firm but decidedly feminine. It is recognisable due to it's immensely strong Lominsan accent and volume, Vex can be heard from quite a distance away, her voice being able to carry quite far. If the Keeper laughs it is decidedly louder, her mother often saying that she could hear the woman laughing from the other side of Vylbrand itself. Clothing: There is a vast amount of clothing that the vain Keeper may wear, it'll typically be an outfit that she thinks will steal the spotlight. It is common to see Vex in full plate armour, often with a helm on in circumstances when it really shouldn't be on.
