General Information Liliane aka Lilly is just a magic obsessed researcher who is wanting to learn all she can about anything magicks related and can be right down annoying when it comes to getting what she wants. She is primarily a healer, aiming to use her gifts for the betterment of all, not just for Ishgard, but since they're the ones paying her bills, she has to give them something! Speaking of which she is sickened that the most of the powerful and/or influential amongst her people seem to squander their energy upon petty squabbles and vices instead of coming together to help one another. She has come to Eorzea and set up 'shop' as it were, in Gridania and has so far come to really love it, but then again going from a place of constant winter to places not bound by snow and ice is wondrous. That aside, she still supports Ishgard in hopes of changing it from within and is afraid one day they (they being the more seedy parts of Ishgard) will find out what she really plans and will either try to ensnare her for their own purposes or find a way to get rid of her before she can do any good. ❝ Any problem can be solved with a little ingenuity! ❞ Appearance Eyes Hair Skin Build Voice Verdigris Green Platinum Blonde Fair Lithe Kelly Manison Bearing Laterality Scars Markings Style Erudite, Formal, Amicable Right-handed None Beauty mark below right eye Semi-Formal Hair & Eyes A crown of back-length flowing platinum blonde hair that is styled down the middle and usually frames her face and that is always kempt. She usually keeps it long and loose, though has been known to tie it back, typically when she's 'serious' and typically smells slightly like Bright-lilies. Her eyes are bright and always seemingly have a glint of curiosity about them, like a child whose being taught something fascinating. Physique & Markings Tall, well proportioned, fair pinkish toned skin, high cheekbones, small nose, light plump lips, lithe figure with wide hips. She has long graceful limbs and would have something of a 'dancers build'. Semi-long ears, the tips of which point more to the side than up or down. Though she looks fragile, she has some tone to her figure, allowing her to move about more freely than one might expect of a rampant bookworm. Hygiene & Attire Lilly is very fastidious, preferring to look her best and to try and maintain a well put together appearance. Her style is what she would call 'semi-formal' in that she prefers to dress up, more to express herself and accentuate her features, yet not go overboard as to wear silly over-stuffed dresses and corsets, but always maintains that her outfit should be flattering without being either too ostentatious or too revealing. Though showing off one's figure and maybe a BIT of skin and/or cleavage is acceptable as long as you don't look like you're 'easy'. Personality Psychological Profile She comes off as serious, self-possessed, independent, intelligent, thoughtful and yet a little arrogant. She is obsessed about magic and all thing associated with it. She is fiercely loyal to the few friends she has, her friendship and loyalty though are hard to earn. Idealistic. Diplomatic. "look before leaping". Intelligent to the point of being calculating. Eager to lend her intellect to those in need. Is slow to ask for help. She puts on a 'chilly' exterior as is the Ishgardian way, typically, but has a bit of warmth and empathy towards others that she tries to not show too openly. She is skeptical and initially suspicious of most people. Hates liars and those whose beliefs seem to change with the direction of the wind. Can be prone to holding grudges and tries to always 'pay her debts' when she has been slighted ie "Oh sorry darling, I didn't see you there when my spell went off, ohoho". Isn't above teasing/exchanging a few barbs with someone. Has a deep-seated fear of being alone/cast aside, thus she is always trying to hone her abilities and knowledge so she can always be useful/valuable. When it comes to the Dragonsong War, she is with agreement with Aymeric and looks forward to working with him and the House of Commons and Lords in order to help pull her nation from the corrupt aristocracy that seemed to have the entire country and it's populace mired in superstitions and petty politics. Voice She has two ways of speaking. The first is intentional and formal, in where she slips out 'tis' and 'lord/lady' with respect that is normally common to anyone of a higher rank/caste than herself and finds it difficult to break that habit to the point where she often gives them a "deal with it" attitude. Though she maintains a calm tone, she can be given to sharp inflections when annoyed. Her other way of speaking is whenever the topic of magic is brought up, to which she can switch to talking a mile a minute, in that she speaks very fast, says what's on her mind and isn't afraid to hold back her opinions on such topics, like a child talking about their favorite games to play or stories to hear. Philosophy & Mannerisms Believes in the pursuit of knowledge and believes that antiquated restrictions like racial bias, social taboo's and misaligned patriotism are things better left behind or just flat out ignored. Vulgarity is no substitute for wit. She is very refined to the point of being aristocratic in her mannerisms, though her experiences in Eorzea have relaxed her formality more so than she realizes. From whom to talk to get out of jam, whom to avoid when you're carrying contraband INTO the city, to even some of the most romantic spots in Ishgard. Combat Abilities ● Strategist: One of her favorite subjects, when she was taking a break from magickal studies, was to setup imaginary battles and wage war upon various stages that she herself put together. She found a love in all forms of games from Chess to even this new game called Triple Triad that she would discover years later. ● Aegis: By combining different forms of protective magicks, she's able to 'ward' a small area from harm. This shield is in actuality a complex setup of compiled shields that form into one 'ward'. Though this ward is near invunerable, it does not protect from mental abilities and will shatter upon taking too much damage. ● Friendly Fae: TBD OOC Note I don't mind using the /random system or just doing free-form combat either, though that being said, I completely understand with and agree to the role-playing code of ethics like adhering to no god-moding, called shots and so on. I consider myself to be fair and impartial when it comes to certain rules but I will not hesitate to call someone out on some 'animu' BS! heh.

History Disclaimer: While I'm pretty sure I kept things pretty lore acurrate/friendly, I will not claim to know everything so if there is a mistake somewhere, I would be more than happy to have that pointed out IF done so in a constructive manner and of course any and all suggestions or advice would be very appreciated, not only for this history section but ANY portion of my profile. Thank you. Sixth Astral Era Childhood Was born the daughter of a up and coming socialite/social climber in Ishgard. One of the various mistresses that are always seemingly kept around one of the more powerful noble houses. Her mother wanted to use Lilly as a 'pawn' in the 'great game' and when she saw her daughter had an innate affinity with magic, used her connections to all but guarantee her daughter into a prodigious studious future. Lilly spent most of her childhood locked away from other children, being taught lessons in magic, history, etiquette, and a variety of other mind numbing topics that children typically dislike. When she wasn't studying, she would often sneak away to watch the other children play or go through her mother's things, which she had a fondness for jewelry. When she was finally able to be 'debuted' (around her sixteenth year) she was one of the top students at the time, with professors (and of course her mother) touting that she would be of great value to Holy See of Ishgard. Seventh Umbral Era Adulthood Years passed listlessly, during one of the numerous gray nights, as Lilly was retiring from her studies, she overheard a conversation her mother was having about "The bids for marriage shall come pouring in!". The thought of not being able to continue with her studies, much less not being able to experience more of the world she was basically taught to shun, filled Lilly with anxiety. So, two weeks after that bit of eavesdropping, Lilly learned about House Fortemps ushering in outsiders, which fascinated her. After some negotiating and just a HINT of manipulation, Lilly secured herself a spot on an research committee of sorts as senior researcher of their magical division (which she would often say she knows she was being humble). Her goal was to learn as much as she could about the magicks/enchantments/magitek/fantastical creatures of interest of Ishgard's sister nation and to, when her studies were finished, bring that back to Ishgard and hopefully enrich their rigid system of education (and possibility military applications). In Recent Times Moving Forward (I will update this as stuff happens to her, being a new character can take a little while for things to get 'going' lol)

OOC Notes Player Information Player Note There is a lot of information on this character wiki, but it is by no means completely comprehensive. There are chunks of backstory that are left intentionally vague so that details can be later added as developed through creative writing or in role-play revelation. Feel free to use Common or Uncommon rumors freely, if you want to use a Rare Rumor as a plot hook or to spark RP, I would ask that you send me a tell first, to make certain it's alright. Character Lore Adherence Everything concerning this character that has not been confirmed by in-game lore should be taken with a grain of salt. Anything that has had to be changed because of lore shifting will be noted below. ■ No changes. Character Concept I originally wanted to come up with a character who was, more or less, completely opposite to my 'amazon with a heart of gold' Rose. So I focused on someone whose magically oriented and intellectually superior and with a TOUCH of arrogance. So when I thought of all those things, Ishgard pretty much came to mind, so I set her up there and gave her a personality to match, but I didn't want to make an unapproachable ice queen, so I made her moderately "chilly" and gave her some hidden warmth. I pulled from various characters, but if I had to say which were the most influential? I'd probably have to say this girl is probably... 60% Diana from Little Witch Academia and 30% Merlin from Seven Deadly Sins and 10% Naga from Slayers.
