Currently she is a Head Researcher for The Gathering Hub. Traveling the world of Eorzea in order to research and hunt monsters. Often traveling with hunters and her husband Velectis (who is the Commander of The Gathering Hub) on their airship to hard to reach areas where people are in need of aid from a monster's devastation. ' ' ' Appearance Hair & Eyes Hair: Long, pale green, and has bangs. Eyes: Right eye is golden, while left eye is milky white and appears lifeless. Physique & Markings She is of average hight and build for a female Raen. Notably though her left arm may appear different to those who look for it. Having lost her left arm in a terrible attack by a Coeurl, it is now a mechanical one designed by her husband and engineer, Velectis. When settings are adjusted it can move visibly faster and more accurate then a regular hand physically could ever be capable of doing on its own. But due to the design being very similar to her right hand in shape and movement, it remains completely hidden at first glance when gloved. Hygiene & Attire Very clean and hygienic, yet isn't afraid to get dirty in order to do something important when called for. Her attire is often greatly affected by her vast traveling so it's often a conclusion of many different cultures, varying on where she has been visiting recently. She also shows in her attire her interest in new engineering designs that her husband comes up with that are wearable and aid in her healing abilities. Personality Personality She is extremely kind and caring yet has a very thick hide with her emotions from having healed in war torn and poverty stricken areas. Full of compassion for others, she is never one to look over someone in need. However, she will often put others so much above her own needs that she often lets them fall by the wayside to her own detriment. Voice Has the soothing voice of a true healer. Spirituality Does not have a spirituality of her own but she is very open minded and even willing to participate on other's belief systems when needed. Her heart of an explorer does not end when it comes to learning about other cultures and their beliefs. History . Disclaimer: In the sections below of this page I have important events in her history described in chronological order so as to help track of it. If you are wanting more detailed information about her past I prefer others to simply get to know that through actually RPing with the character. Sixth Astral Era Childhood This is typically pre-calamity information, or information from before the turn of the era (Domans & others not in Eorzea proper) Age 1-10: Grew Up in Sui-no-Sato. Age 10-16: Mentored by a Kojin and learned about the Arcane Arts through books. Age 16-19: Left Ruby Sea and officially trained by Arcanists in Kugane. Seventh Umbral Era Adulthood This is typically post calamity information, or information since the turn of the era (Domans & others not in Eorzea proper). Age 19-23: Apprenticeship under Doctor/Healer Harusada Goro in Kugane Age 23: Marries Velectis Doshiro Age 23-25: Does work as Doctor/Healer in Ishgard in less fortunate areas and builds Airship with Velectis. Age 25: Flies Airship to Limsa, gets faerie, and loses left arm in the process. Flies to Uldah to aid refugees. Goes to Shirogane, becomes Head Researcher for The Gathering Hub. Short Bio She was born and raised beneath the Ruby Sea in Sui-no-Sato. Though the small village was a sanctuary from the wars above on land, Suki had the heart of an explorer and desired more in life. She would often (at the dismay of her family) go out adventuring through the sea and that is where she met a Kojin named Inban. Inban would become like a mentor for Suki growing up. He taught her many things upon her visits and introduced her to her love of books. He was an avid tome collector and Suki loved how they told tales and wonderments of life on land. One day a large sealed crate of books fell from a ship above and Suki chanced upon it while exploring the sea. Within the crate were books meant for teaching Arcanist and from them starting at the age of ten she was able to learn of the Arcane Arts. Suki soon found herself a natural at manipulating aether through its own mathematical formulas and geometry. Perfecting what she could read to the best of efforts she eventually was able to summon her very own topaz carbuncle. However, eventually she tried a spell that was of much higher if difficulty then she was prepared for and ended up severely injuring herself. The injury caused her left eye to become milky white and lifeless without movement. But from the injury grew her urge to better herself even more. At the age of sixteen she decided to finally leave the sea on her own and venture to the city of Kugane. It is there that she went under official training to become a better Arcanist for three years until she was able to find a healer to apprentice under named Harusada Goro. Suki learned a lot about the healing arts from Harusada for roughly 4 years until his untimely death. Though his death hit Suki hard as he was kind and someone she deeply looked up to, she knew she had to continue in what he had taught her. It was also around this time she met her soon to be husband Velectis Doshiro. Velectis was from Ishgard and after hearing of the troubles there Suki deeply wanted to help. So after they were married she went with Velectis to help aid the needy in Ishgard for the next two years with her healing. It was also during this time that the two decided to build an airship together. Being that Velectis had experience building airships and was a skilled engineer. But her heart of an explorer could not cease, so as soon as the airship was finished she desired to go to more new lands. When researching the Nymian’s ways of being a scholar while exploring the lands of Limsa she found tales of a faerie. She was determined to find and make a pact with the faerie as the ancients did. But when searching for the faerie she found it guarded by a Coeurl. Though she defeated the beast with the help of the faerie and Velectis at her side, she did lose half her writing arm to its powerful jaws. Suki fearing the loss of her hand would end her career as a scholar. But she was surprised when Velectis swiftly began engineering a mechanical hand for her. The end product was a fully functioning hand capable of greater speeds and powered by her own aether. Now more then capable of healing once again they set off on their airship in search of those in need. They soon ventured to the lands of Uldah in efforts to help aid the refugees there. After some time she decided to return to The Ruby Sea and visit her Kojin mentor. It was around this time they met an old hunter that had started a public Gathering Hub for hunters to come and go to get hunt marks and quests. He planned to create more and after helping him he decided to hand the Gathering Hub over to Suki and Velectis to continue their research as the old hunter moved on to create more Gathering Hubs like it across Eorzea.
