General Information Miakis Nor is the only known adopted child to House Nor. She carries the weight of her family's struggle to prevent the house from disappearing from history. The noblewoman has spent most of her twenty summers learning how to be a proper lady of the Holy Sees, and learning how to run her family's various business deals. Not one to shy away from using deceitful tactics to keep her house alive, Miakis likes to think of herself as cunning as she takes out rival houses, or nobles who think she does not belong due to her race and adopted status. In dealing with the harsh reality of noble politics, Miakis finds solace in music. She is well known in her talents of tickling the ivories. ❝ Don't trust a soul in the Holy See. ❞ Appearance Eyes Hair Skin Build Voice Golden eyes that seem cold to the glance. She keeps mostly a stoic expression as she talks to other. There may be a fake smile on her lips, but her eyes will tell you she isn't interested in talking to you. Silver hair that falls down to just below her shoulders. Sometimes styles it longer through magic or styling products. Fair skin that is very soft to the touch and smooth to the eye. A curvy woman with an hourglass shape. Voice claim for songs is Ashley Barrett. Otherwise, her voice can be described as silvery with a melodious tune to it. Posture Laterality Scars Markings Style Miakis is very self aware with how she stands in a room. She will most likely always have a straight back and her arms settled in her lap. Miakis is right handed. No present scars. She is rarely in combat does not venture out of Ishgard that often. A beauty mark rests under the right corner of her lip. Miakis is always wearing the latest trends in Ishgard. The noble is normally seen in the traditional Ishgardian dress, but she wears ballgowns from all around. Skirts and dresses are her normal go to, barely owning a pair of pants. Hair & Eyes Miakis switches hairstyles according to what event she is going to. Her normal hair style is to keep it straight down with her hair having a minor half-curl to frame her face. She has been known to use the magic services of an aesthetician to get longer hair for soirees and balls. Yet she never changes the color to anything but silver. Physique & Markings Miakis has a slim build but a curve to her breasts and backside. She tries her best to watch what she eats to keep a slim figure. She also has a beauty mark on the bottom right corner of her lip. Hygiene & Attire Miakis is always well-kempt. She strives to make sure every inch of her person is cleaned, dressed appropriately, and properly lotioned from her many moisturizers she keeps in her well stocked vanity. The noblewoman is a fan of fancy baths, so she normally has a sweet scented aroma on her skin. Personality Psychological Profile The silver noblewoman has a crisis in trying to feel as if she fits in with the Elezen population in Ishgard. Even with her House's high status, Miakis grew up feeling like an outsider in a world she was told she is supposed to belong in. As such, Miakis has grown a bit bitter to most people, truly believing the worst in anyone. She doesn't trust others that well and is always looking for a way to get the upper hand on someone before they even seem like they might be a rival to her. Voice Miakis has a silvery voice as she speaks. Her words almost like music from her pleasant speech which has mostly come from years of vocal coaching. The tone normally never changes from a factual state, however, in moments of weakness she raises her voice or has a sharp edge to it. Especially when her temper gets the better of her. Philosophy & Mannerisms Miakis has the manners expected out of someone who was raised by nobility. She keeps her posture straight at all times and gracefully moves about a room. Her values in life align mostly with those of an Ishgardian woman. She places her House and her duty to her country first before most else. She doesn't care for much else unless they peak her interest or have a use to her. She believes herself better than the lower stature class and isn't shy to make that known. Non-Combat Abilities ● Musician: Miakis is talented in many instruments; from the piano, the lyre, the flute, and the viola. She has a quick grasp on understanding musical instruments and can perform them expertly within a couple of lessons. She also has a wonderful singing voice that has been honed through the years of vocal training. ● Silver Tongued: Miakis has plenty of experience in lying to people. Her face barely gives any signs of her tall tales as she has many years of spinning her web of lies to many Ishgardian nobles. ● Noble Aura: The silver-haired noble can easily act like she belongs anywhere. Most people don't bother her as she saunters into the back rooms of private estates. Combat Abilities ● N/A Miakis only has 'basic' training of a rapier. OOC Note I like the fates system and I like using /random. I am more than happy to give Miakis a disadvantage as she is not a fighter. Only people I trust and know would I be okay with not using either of these. If we want to make the outcome of something determined, that is fine but I like to not let it be 'God-Mod' mode for any character.

History . Disclaimer: My character is based off of my own ideas and off of a Dungeons and Dragons character I play. If you think she's like yours, hey! That's cool. Snooty nobles are awesome. So have a high-five! o/ Sixth Astral Era Childhood Before the Calamity, Miakis had spent her 13-15 years of her life in Ishgard. She studied music, attended parties, and tried to be the lady her parents raised her to be. Forever grateful to her parents for adopting her, Miakis followed her duties without question. However, the noblewoman was not the one who was expected to take over the House; that fell on her adopted brother, Alnoth. Not many remember the hyur as he was disowned from the House shortly before the Calamity due to unspoken reasons. Once the Calamity happened, Alnoth disappeared and that left Miakis to bear the burden of the House's future. Seventh Umbral Era Adulthood The Calamity itself did little to change Miakis's fate. The wintery scene only made completing her house's duties colder. Miakis has been thrusted into the limelight of her country to try finding a suitable spouse. The hyur tries to balance being an appealing wife to houses with similar statures like her own while learning the family politics. It's only been five so years, but Miakis has been patiently learning the game.   In Recent Times Moving Forward The silver-haired hyur has grown colder to those around her. She avoids practicing piano in front of an audience, strictly sticking to her lyre as the days pass. The last couple of moons, Miakis has been traveling more out of Ishgard and focusing on expanding her family's connections while putting off the thoughts of suitors for now. She's been seen in Ul'dah and Gridania mostly, usually accompanied by a guard but in rare times she comes alone for unknown purposes.

RP Limits I like to consider myself a flexible player. I am open to most things, so please just ask. I like dark, mature plots; honestly preferring them over much else. However, I like slices of life plots as well. Please don't try RPing with my character just to ship with her. I like those to come naturally. Her ship has already sailed as well, so please note she is not It's also annoying if your only goal is to change her. She is a precious bean as is! If your character is hell bent on trying to bring out good in her, she's going to quickly dismiss them from her company. ■ I will play all RPs. Most themes are fine. In game is also alright, Discord is perfect as well. I try to match lengths of RP based on the other person, but sometimes I will either need to write a very large paragraph or a short response because I can't continue unless hearing how your character reacts. So if either is an issue, just let me know ahead of time. ■ Ask about Pre-established relationships and friendships. It's fine and honestly easier for them to have some sort of connection already. It can be as tiny as met them at a party once or as big as they use to be great friends till one of them stole the other's lover. However, it is easier to have it as Ishgardians being the other pre-established connection as outsiders are a bit more hard to make. Its possible but lets discuss it. ■ I won't play No just ERP plots. No Shipping plots. I like there to be an actual story behind it all and not just forcing characters together. I'm okay with sexual/suggestive themes but if it doesn't make sense and is forced I won't roll with it. Miakis is already taken in character, and will not be shipped with at this point in time. RP Hooks While the below is by no means comprehensive, it's a kind of spring board for RPs. Longer plots that are meant to run for more than a few quick RP's, please feel free to send me a tell so we can work out a good reason for our characters to get to know one another. Not just emotionally cold, your character can be a bubbly noble she puts up with or a commoner she just can't seem to stop running into. ■ Musicians of all kinds. Miakis loves music. It's a bit of an enchantment to her. She will more than likely be a lot nicer if a bond of music is shared. ■ Are you a voidsent hunter and may have found out about the other adopted Nor who was sent away to the ossuary and escaped? Well there's a good chance Miakis might need to give you some hush money. ■ Want to have a pre-established friendship or rivalry? Okay then, let's go. Our characters can have an already established business relationship, friendship, once upon a time hookup, etc. It will just have to be worked in and something discussed.

Such "meaningless, fallacious false dichotomies" are for simple-minded beings, not for them. ■ Bodyguard Crush Sweet deal... or is it? This often conflicts with the protector's sense of professionalism, especially if they're a Battle Butler or a Ninja Maid. What happens if the bodyguard and the liege's relationship goes bad? What if the conflicts distract the protector or if plans and orders coming from the bosses change...? A Bodyguard Crush is extremely common in Lady and Knight dynamics.
