Appearance

Chip is a Miqo'te of short stature and he's developed a scrawny build due to his constant diet of fish. Although he has no idea how old he is, he's got a youthful face and looks to be younger than 25. He's got fluffy purple fur and light grey eyes that almost look silver. When under the bloodlust, his eyes are completely black. Chip always wears shirts to cover his back, which is marred and twisted with whip scars. He is not exactly ashamed of them, but he does not like answering the question of how he got them. His clothes are very worn and torn in many areas, giving him the appearance of a shipwrecked victim. He wanders around barefoot, but sometimes he can be seen in boots.

Personality

Chip is a mischievous kitten who's always eager to have fun. His playfulness makes him act like a little kid, even though he's well past his teenage years. When he was banished to the wilderness, he developed a habit of talking in third person to keep himself company. Although he's a cute, innocent kitten, Chip keeps a dark secret caged inside. It is the only explanation for why he lives alone and not in the Tribe he was born into. He pretends to act squeamish at the sight of blood, when in fact he is actually afraid of it. This is due to the bloodlust he gets whenever he's around blood or sees it. The exact cause is unknown, but Chip knows enough about it to know to run away whenever he sees blood.

Biography

Childhood

Chip was born into a Miqo'te Tribe of the Mole. He was young at the time when the Battle of Carteneau/Fall of Dalamud occurred. It upset the balance of nature and the destruction rattled his Tribe mentally and physically. When things began to resettle, crystals of Corrupted Aether began to appear, tainted by the Guardian Primal's rage. Chip is unknowingly exposed to the stuff and it in turn cursed him with a darkness locked deep inside him. He develops Aether Poisoning and whenever he absorbs Aether, it triggers his bloodlust.

When his tribe first learned of his curse, they had him almost whipped to death to try and get the demon out of him. When that didn't work, they did the next best thing for the tribe and banished him to protect the rest from his sickness.
