Appearance & Personality

Appearance:

Big, Scary and a dash of rogue-ish charm is mostly what people see when they lay their eyes upon Lyngbakr. But looking behind the beard and the scary face, some might find him as a real comfortable man to look at, -not by his looks-, but his Ocean blue eyes that shines when he smiles. He wears a marine blue Jackcoat and Breeches and on top of his head you would find his pride; Tricorne, perfect fit as a captain's hat, Some think that Lyng is blind on one eye because of the eyepatch, but this is simply not the case, and he's not afraid of telling you why.

Personality:

He is a very strong man, but in that, he is also very weak. He is a good man, with a good heart, but it makes him a bit of a terrible pirate.

His strength and desire to be outwardly strong, leave him very open. If he feels like he does not meet his own expectations, he goes above and beyond to prove a point, just the same with failure, but that never tends to do quite as planned. He does it with haste and with little fore-thought, and in his haste, tends to leave himself open.

He is a man of the sea and lives life loving treasure and the symbol a crew brings. It is prideful, it is exciting, and it is grand adventure with good people and some really good pay out.

His heart is too good to truely ever be a 'pirate'. He would never plunder a town and ravage homes for the sake of treasure. He is a pirate in the way all Limsians were 'pirates'.

They would pillage the city of their enemies or whatever, but as far as innocent people? No.

He also plays the tough guy, but really he dearly loves everyone arund him who calls him 'friend'. He is hard on them and teases them because that is his way of showing them he cares and accepts them.

He is hard and makes those comments out of love. It is his way of showing affection. It means he cares about you. He would never do it if he didn't. ...He would likely simply make a crass remark and leave.

Enemies ♥ Leoshi Summerwind - Even though it all started by her eavesdropping on his conversation, -and him scaring her afterwards- They have been close together in any kind of danger or socializing going on. She simply charmed the big roe by making him dinner (with the amount of food she made, she could have easily fed an army of goobbues). ● Corbeaux Baptiste - Getting to know this strange Elezen were actually over a friendly bet between a friend of Lyng and Himself. Lyng bet that his friend could not charm the lady that were in Corbeaux proximity. The interesting twist were that the lady were Corbeaux's 'Employer'. Long story short, Lyng won the bet and bought Corbeaux the finest wine he could afford. ● Nai Ruahki - Nai is a rather strange one to know Lyng, He simply whistled after the miqo'te because he didn't want her to be standing alone while his table were almost full of strangers.
