GENERAL INFORMATION

Nai is a fairly common sight around Ul'dah, often carrying with her a basket of goodies or just lurking in the Quicksand, enjoying a drink and soaking in the heat of Thanalan. She is well adapted to city life and culture for being a tribe-born Seeker and is fairly well-known on the streets due to her history as a dancer (and other, less-reputable jobs) entertaining merchants, locals, and visitors alike. She only recently returned to frequent the desert city after time away in Limsa Lominsa, where she was a common sight within the Drowning Wench.

APPEARANCE

Nai would be considered a runt within her tribe at only 56 ilms (4'8"). She is every bit a tiny, soft, curvy kitten and she knows it well, often playing up that feminine softness to her advantage. Her hips are quite broad, matching an ample bust that is certainly generous, but not over the top, and her waist is fairly narrow. Her belly, when visible, sports a soft, feminine curve rather than being flat or muscular, and the rest of her body sports a similar, mild layer of 'squish'. She's still athletic, and she will prove it if cornered, but on the whole she looks more like a happy housewife than a hardened adventurer.

Her face is soft, a pleasant heart shape with delicate-looking features, her lips often lightly glossed in a deep purple shade. Vibrantly blue eyes are slanted in a manner reminiscent of her more feline traits, lined with dark lashes, though oddly lacking in the tell-tale slit pupil of the Seeker breed of Miqo'te, lined with a dusting of blue-purple eyeshadow. Her hair is kept long, often loose in gentle curls near her shoulderblades, a soft lavender color to match the fur of her ears and tail. Hidden by her bangs, a pair of deep brown stripes reach from the arch of her brows to her hairline, though the two pair that cross her cheeks, just below her eyes, remain perfectly visible, a few shades darker than her dusky skintone.

The only visible mark on her well-cared-for skin is a scarred and inked design over her heart, just above her left breast. An inked coil of rope encircles the Eorzean 'V', every line raised as scar tissue under the tattooing. Duskwights and those familiar with their culture will know at first glance she wears the mark of the Valeroyant clan.

PERSONALITY

Generally quiet and content to cook at home, Nai's personality could best be likened to one who lives to serve. She's polite and friendly, if sometimes a little shy, but can be playful if properly encouraged. Her favorite thing is to feed her friends, something she's often found doing with a basket of goodies on her arm. Concerning friends, she tends to make them easily, eager to ask after others' likes, dislikes, and stories over pushing forward her own interests. Her biggest downfall, however, is her instinctive aggression toward Male Seekers, and possibly her blind adoration of all things Elezen. Particularly Duskwights.

RELATIONS (NPC) A'nahki Nunh, Sire ( � ✝ ) - Former A-Tribe Breeder Nai really has no relationship with her father, to the point she only calls him her sire. However, his name is the only thing of note that she kept with her after she left the tribe, choosing instead to honor a man she felt was fair and kind to his females and children. May he rest in peace. Diloneux Valeroyant, 'Father' ( ♥ ♥ ) - Desant's Sexy Dad Nai only recently met the patriarch of the Valeroyant clan, but she was immediately won over by his charm. He is a kind man who means well, even if he tends toward the raunchy side, and she is both thrilled and honored to be able to call him papa. (Now if only Des had warned her his dad was hot...) Landrenel Valeroyant, 'Cousin' ( ✔ ♥ ) - Cockblocked Duskie Before she was officially part of the Valeroyant clan, she ran into 'Lan' on several occasions which always left the poor guy in some degree of sexually frustrated state. Never on purpose, but she's really starting to feel sorry for the poor guy...

RELATIONS (PC) A'khebica Ginwa, Cousin ( ♥ ) - Clumsy Genious Nai's baby cousin, though she's not seen her in over a year. She hopes Khebi is still alive and found a safe place to settle. A'kiina Saazhu, Niece ( ♥ ) - Adorable Alchemist Nai absolutely loves Kiina to bits and is fiercely protective of her. Family is few and far between, she'll do anything to keep her safe and happy. While she was a little worried for her well-being outside the Tribal lifestyle, knowing Kiina now stays with a man who better knows the way of the civilized world settles some of her fears. Aerisette 'Mouse' Dellamorte, Friend ( ♦ ) - Former Dock Rat Mouse, as she goes by on the docks, is just a young thing, still learning the ways of life beyond the confines of Limsa's docks. Nai is protective of her, but will not go out of her way to intervene, or expend too much energy actively shielding her from reality. Instead, she offers the young hyur advice and insight and hopes for the best. Sometimes the only way to learn is to make mistakes. Abrenard Rondelet, Acquaintance ( ✔ ) - Curious Serpent A displaced Ishgardian knight, she isn't quite sure what to make of him, but judges him friendly enough despite his habit of hiding his face. She finds his snake-themed armor to be rather amusing, but only met him a handful of times before he made off for parts unknown, presumably chasing this phantom urge he mentioned in passing. Ciel Grayve, Acquaintance ( ✔ ) - The Songstress While she knows Ciel, interaction has been minimal over the years. She still enjoys the memory of her music, but has next to no connection with the Lady Bard these days. Corbeaux Baptiste, Ex-Lover ( ✖ ✝ ) - Abuser In life, he was a lover who thought himself her master. In death, he leaves her with nothing but the hollow comforts of wealth and the aching guilt of all she sacrificed to please him. Slowly, she is coming to forgive herself and move on, letting herself be the woman she was before he got his claws into her. Desant Valeroyant, Lover/Mate ( ♥ ♥ ♥ ♦ ) - Her Alpha Duskwight These two have been through heaven and hell together, but their bond remains as strong as ever, despite her foolishly leaving him for another. Des took her in and loved her despite it and she has never looked back. He is her everything, she trusts him with every possible aspect of her life and safety, she would do absolutely anything he asked of her because she knows there would be a good reason for it. She wears his mark proudly on her chest, his collar around her throat, and his name as her own to show she belongs completely to him. Erimmont Chevalier, Friend ( ♦ ♥ ) - A Rocky Road Much has happened between Nai and Erimmont, they have been the closest friends and the worst enemies. For now, though, things seem calm and positive, the little kit finding pleasure in stuffing him full of tarts and questionably-shaped pancakes at any given moment. You'll often find the pair cuddling, though the affection is far more platonic than people assume. Jordain Allard, Acquaintance ( ● ) - Kiina's Duskie It seems a love of Duskwights runs in her family's blood, as A'kiina has ended up with a man who isn't quite what he seems. Nai is still figuring him out, but he seems to sincerely care for Kiina, so she's mostly been keeping her nose out of their blooming relationship. Still, she will be right there if he ever does anything to harm her. Lhei'to Tayuun, Friend ( ♦ ♥ ) - The Moonie The Keeper she ended up 'living' with over part of her 22nd summer. She hasn't seen him since, nor does she know if he still lives. Lyngbakr Lyngwintsyn, Friend ( ♦ ) - The Captain One of the few roegadyn friends she's made, Nai is quite fond of the Captain. She hasn't seen him much in recent moons, beyond his Bonding ceremony, but she hopes he's doing well. Once upon a time, he would watch out for her in the Drowning Wench and in turn she did what she could to aid him when he needed it, be it with a bow, a shield, or just a hug. With any luck, his new bride now fills that role. Minox Moks, Once-Friend ( ✔ ) - Moxy She's not seen Moxie in several moons, spare a brief appearance with no actual interaction at the reception of Captain Lyng's Bonding. She wonders if warning her against a certain suitor's antics severed the trust they'd built, because she said things Minox didn't want to hear. She dearly hopes not. Waylon Baladur, Friend ( ♦ ) - The Impulsive Highlander She met Waylon in the Quicksand in early spring and the pair quickly hit it off, what with her challenging him to out-drink her and all. She was surprised he had honestly only sat down for conversation and she was more than happy to seek his company again later. The pair have become good friends, even if they enjoy physically teasing each other far too much. Fortunately for all involved, their antics are only that.

OOC INFORMATION Player Note Please feel free to walk up and say hi if you see Nai out in the 'wild'. I love meeting new friends and the kitten is pretty damn friendly. Just don't expect ERP just because she enjoys lurking in the Quicksand now and then. I'm not against more mature/erotic themes in my RP, but I really don't like it when people expect it out of a first encounter, or even a third, sixth, or beyond... Nai IS in a committed relationship. Personal RP Limits So long as people are clear in their OOC communication and don't just try to run up and be all 'lol i kill u k?', I'm pretty open-minded about just about anything. I've played some pretty traumatic stuff with Nai and she's suffered for it, but so have the people who hurt her. So yeah, it's basically a whole 'the sky's the limit' so long as you're mature about it and don't godmode on me. A little communication goes a long way, as does remembering ICA=ICC. ■ I will play: Social, Slice-Of-Life, or Story-driven plots. ■ Ask about: Anything physically/emotionally traumatic, more mature themes.
