He resides in the Mist housing district, though you’ll often find him at the headquarters of his crystal business, The Blades of Light located in the Lavender beds. He was part of the adventurer unit that went to Cartenau Flats, who were named the Warriors of Light following the Calamity. Though he holds the title, the man seems to take offense to being called as such. . ❝ Quote. ❞ Appearance Eyes Hair Skin Build Voice Blue gray Umber brown Fair Lean, well built Quiet, monotonous Bearing Laterality Scars Markings Style Reluctant, passive Right side Two long scars form a cross through his left eye None Clean Hair & Eyes At first glance the hyur’s hair appears short, but upon closer inspecting it’ll become clear he takes very little care of it. Aside from maintaining a short length, his hair has never seen a hair brush and is always a perpetual state of bed hair. He doesn’t care for the trending hairstyles as long as it’s out of the way. His hair will often become lighter in the sunlight, despite being a dark shade of brown. His eyes aren’t a bright blue like most in Eorzea, bleak like his personality would be a better description. Due to an accident in his childhood, he’s been blind in his left eye since the age of seven. If you ever see behind the eyepatch, you’ll see that while the eye recovered physically, the iris turned white. . Physique & Markings Despite his profession as a magic user, Zanel is not slender like most as a result of gathering crystals. Years of wielding a pickaxe and hatchet have built muscle, but as the hyur does not maintain a workout routine the best he’s developed is a slightly well built frame. He’s considerably tall for his race, standing over 6 fulms. He attributes it to his father’s side of the family, as they were known for their tall height. . Hygiene & Attire Presentation is a big thing for Zanel, whether he’s meeting with clients or simply relaxing at home. He stresses keeping a clean environment, and will often judge others if they’re appearance isn’t up to his standards. Though he insist in everything looking clean and presentable, he’s rather hypocritical as his study is the sole thing in his life that’s such a mess he keeps it under lock and key so no one will see it. .
