General Information Wears a smirk in public to keep random people from approaching. Is usually found off to the side, hidden behind, creeping beyond any person, place or thing. Tries his best to blend in, hide in plain sight, not draw attention to himself. Seek refuge in quiet, hidden places where none would think to look. Will pretend to be sociable if a job is forcing him to do so, otherwise he doesn't talk much unless there is something important to say. ❝ If'n you don't want to hire me, or buy me a drink, then leave me alone. ❞ Appearance Hair & Eyes Distinct features include intense silver eyes, silver hair, elongated ears, and two very deep scars over his left eye. Hair is usually pulled back, or hidden under helm or cap, but try as he might there are usually a few strands hanging in his face. Hair is only cut when it grows past his shoulders, otherwise he doesn't care what it looks like, or how it is styled. Has a cold, serious stare, akin to the unimaginative saying: as cold as ice. Somehow, when Sebastien is over-emotional, or the lighting is just right, his eyes almost glow a glinted white. Physique & Markings Sebastien is taller and leaner than most of his peers, but toned in obvious places from combat and hard-labor. Hands are extremely calloused, knuckles scarred, and fingers permanently cracked in places. Is missing two toes on his right foot from hypothermia when he was a child. Usually walks with a slump in his shoulders, but never fully relaxes when sitting or sleeping. It is obvious by the way he stands, or carries himself, that he is always on edge, always expecting something to happen. Body is riddled with marks, scars and the like from exposure to the elements from Coerthas. Nose is slightly crooked, possibly from being broken once and not setting right. Restless sleeping keeps his eyes sunken; dark circles highlight his bright eyes. Hygiene & Attire His monthly stipend rules his attire. Armor is of mediocre make and design, colors muted (he prefers it that way), holes patched or dents scuffed out. Will not be caught dead in anything bright, flowery, laced, or silky. Prefers buckles and straps to buttons. Enjoys worn leathers, chain-mail, and scale. Does not enjoy exposed skin, so makes a point to wear a lot of materials. Will bathe himself if he can find a place, has the time, or if he offends himself of his own odor, otherwise it is just another unnecessary task. So is washing clothes. Philosophy & Mannerisms Underneath his cold, snarky disposition is a man that wants to belong somewhere, though he'd never admit to such foolishness. Self sufficient, self serving; the self is his number one priority. From a rough childhood, to a lifetime of experience, he has learned that the only dependable thing in his life is himself. Thus social graces are lost on him, and 'making friends' is something he has much difficulty with. A survivalist at heart, the necessities of life drive him: food, shelter, money, yet none of which are ever his in abundance. He wants to be a man who calls his own shots, but does not have that luxury or patience. He is about as helpful as the hammer is to the nail; quick, short and to the point. On the surface he does not seem to have a sentimental, sympathetic bone in his body, but that is an outward showing. A tad childish when it comes to things he does not like, namely sunshine or crowded spaces.
